I've been debating about trying this place out for the longest. The night before I planned on going, I made the mistake of reading the review...I was floored at what I was reading and almost decided not to go. But because I desperately needed a sew in this week for a photo shoot, I decide to give them a try anyway. The only thing I was not too fond of was that they don't accept appointments on weekends- walk ins only! That being said I had to get there before opening and sign up on a waiting list. Luckily, I was the 2nd one to sign up. Fast forward to my service, it was amazing. The staff was very, very professional and took the time to make sure that I knew what I wanted. I was charged exactly what was listed on the price list for my service. And the stylist did an amazing job on my sew in (TIFFANY)! I'm glad that I gave them a chance and didn't base my decision on the reviews. I wanted to make sure that I spread a positive word about this place because it deserves it. I will defintely be going back again.

So hear the story....
We got to westheimer location at 6:03 pm and door was locked... I called and they answered and said that location was closed! Closest location was fountain view! We head there and got there at 6:35 pm
Speaks to manager who began to go over prices. Mind you... I called to confirm prices!!! She goes on to say that sew in was 98.00 plus 45 to sew in the closure and 15 to braid!

I went in to tell her I called and that's not good business! Needless to say... I walked away! No respect for customers! I should have been accomedated for due to their lack of communication with each other that's not the customers fault !

I went to the Super Weave Xpress in Humble. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. The service was great they were really nice. The ladies explained everything to me and also gave me tips on my hair. Only negative things are they charge for every little thing such as braid patterns and caps for your weave . DO NOT BUY HAIR THERE . It is not a good quality and it's overly priced .

So I called this place 3 time's to verify that they could do exactly what I wanted and to sure about the price. I informed the lady that I was speaking with that I had left my debit card at home and didn't realize it until I was already driving. I only had about 70 dollars on me and all I wanted was a quick weave with no part. She said it would only be 48 dollars. After driving for an hour in TRAFFIC I get there and now it's starts at 75!!!! Their communication about prices is completely off. Never going back.

Smh just left 529 location. I asked was anyone able to do my daughters 2 goddess braids and the answer was no. Unfriendly atmosphere ,ditsy receptionist, and clearly not a walk in salon. Never the type of person to judge based on hearsay but i shouldnt have wasted my time.

This place is soooooooooooooo Fraud!!!! They got me on their Bait and Switch I just left there today and I looked the receptionist right in the eye on my way back and told her nicely I won't be back!

They advertise a basic $50 sew-in and walk-ins welcomed. So foolishly I walked in today with my hair for the basic $50 install....but I was immediately told that my 3 bundles plus closure made my service automatically $170!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep in my i was NOT requesting anything special. But supposedly the only way they will install a closure is if you pay a minimum $170. At first I was going to walk out, I wish i would have, but since I was there and my hair needed to be done I said I'd do it.

So they told me to have a seat and my stylist would be with me shortly. 30 minutes later my stylist, KIARA, walked in with her food. She went to eat first then she came out to start my hair. I was still optimistic at this point.

She washed my hair and told me someone else would braid it. Then she went to the store. When she came back and seen that my braids hadn't been started she then braided it herself.

What bothered me the most was the OUTRAGEOUS PRICE. I could tell Kiara was fairly new. I didn't have a big issue with her being new (stabbed my head with the needle at least 3 times, burned me with the curling iron once). But at the rate of $170 I should get an experienced stylists not some newbie who was very cold and seemed to have an attitude towards me. She was friendly to her co-workers but very cold and moody towards me. I knew then I would never sit in her chair again. I don't need a stylist to talk to me but I don't like them to be rude and dry either. I got the impression she didn't want to do my hair. But I didn't request her so I don't know why she got stuck with me. But she won't be bothered with doing my hair again!

So she finishes up and it's just ok. Nothing WOW about it. Looks a little wiggy but I can fix that myself.

But imagine my surprise when I went to check out after my service and was told my total was $193 (no Taxes included). So I ask why is it over $20 more than the already outrageous price they gave me before? Apparently, there was an extra $20 shampoo service that I wasn't informed was not included in their earlier quote!

I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!

First timer

I will never go back neither one of their locations! I went got my hair for the first yesterday and I hated it. Don't get me they do have great customer . I was sent to sit in one of the new girls chair and didn't know wtf she was doing, keep stopping and going ask question people was coming over telling her she did this and that wrong plus I ended up getting a major headache from the braids and we had to stop. The girl didn't leave enough hair out to cover up my tracks and my part is too deep and that is not what I asked for. I was there from 1pm to 7 pm which I did not like, I was getting so frustrated with them that I said the hair was ok just so I leave because I've been there all day and neither of the stylist was doing exactly what I wanted. I really feel as if I wasted my 82 f*** dollars, the diamond package is bulls***, the first girl left a lump and talking about she couldnt fix it because of the package like for 82 d** dollars that should've been a style, flat iron and everything but I know now they will never get in my head again! They did let one of their better stylist re-sew my hair in and it looked better but I still have little leave out and I don't like that ! That was hair wasted and money wasted!!!


Very unprofessional. Stylist did a horrible job while complaining about being underpaid working commission in which they get only 40% she said constantly this was her last head she would do. Owners came in looking annoyed and mean in which one looked as though he was counting cars in the parking lot looking worried. Hey did offer champagne which was very cheap. The front desk hair looked a hot mess to work in a "high end" salon. My hair came out decent but I have had better services elsewhere it so wasn't worth almost 600 bucks for a diamond sew in. These people are not the business and did nothing special. Please take your money else. And had nerve enough to play a song saying if you Dont have no money take your broke a-- home. I was like oh yeah so unprofessional. Dont go here this is a WARNING LADIES

Super Weave Xpress has the very WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. It is truly horrendous. First, they do not honor the prices listed on their website. I was a walk-in who wanted to get my hair washed, blow-dried, and braided. That's it, no weave. I was told that the wash and blow dry would be $30, and the cornrows an additional $30. Yet, the price for a wash and blow dry on their website is $20, with $12 for braiding. To top it all off, the receptionist told the lady who came in before me that her circle braid (with no weave service) would be $25. Cornrows are easier to do than a circle braid, so why would they charge me $5 extra? The receptionist called the owner to get a price quote, and then called back 15 minutes later when I questioned their arbitrary prices. But, the owner was "busy." How convenient. As this is the second bad experience I've had here, I have got to say, NEVER AGAIN! They will not get a third chance. I thought the first time I went there, when I got a sub-par weave after waiting over 12 hours, was a fluke, but they really are that horrible.

I HAVE LICE! I am very careful with who I share my hair brushes hair ties or any hair products with due to the fact I received lice once in middle school. I had my hair done about a month ago. I went to my real doctor to get inspected and she informed me that the state of lice and nits that I had was received about a month ago. I now have sores on my head from the extremely tight braiding (and I have really UNsensative scalp). Even my friends who get full sew ins were telling me that my braids were too tight. My stylists name was Sandra and I was shampooed by someone else. I did notice that the hair brushes were not being sanitized, which I should have asked or said something to them about it. My friend who is friends with the manager had recommended this place to me told me that they ripped me off after I told her what they charged me. I am asian and and in the process of growing a bob out... I am use to clip ins and "quick weave" the glue in kind. When I heard about sew ins I wanted to try it out. So basically I had no idea about anything relating to sew ins. Sandra cut my wefts into a million pieces... although she was friendly she didn't really ask me about what I wanted. As I was FORCED to take out my sew in (because of the freaking LICEEEE) I noticed she cut my wefts of hair in a very weird way basically unnecessary cutting. I am SOOOO irritated right now. PLEASE BEWARE.

I not professional at all. All the females look like strippers which hey that's their business. But paid way to much for a sew I'm. The bright girl Amy or whatever washed and conditioned my hair but didn't comb it out!! The braided Hadrian to half way do it and she almost took my brains out! The Amy girl sewed my hair in too Damn tight! I've NEVER had a sew in so tight! It's just horrible! I didn't see no license nowhere for any of the girls I paid over 600.00 for a mess! Also I was there for 6 hours...stay away from this place I'm sorry

The review I am about to write - you would think I am making it up. But I swear it is true.

I came in - waited 2 HOURS just to speak t someone (I had a scheduled appointment) was told that there was a walk in, so that's why I sat there (if I have an appointment, why do you take a walk in?) Finally girl came over NO APOLOGY.

They sold me a bundle of hair, and I TOLD THEM I was going home to color it to match and be back the next day.

SO - The color didn't take. At all. And I know how to do this. So I asked for my money back - actually I was just fine with just taking it out in labor. They said that they had a "strict policy" - no returns. On the receipt? NO. Told when I bought? No. Sign on the wall explaining the policy? NO.

Then they told me that they would not even fix the hair that they told me (!) to dye!!!

Also, by the way, the place is very dirty. I can't imagine the Board of Barbery and Cosmetology would be happy about the conditions there.

Be warned that this is how they do business. Not ethical at all.

Overall this is my first review ever. But I thought that it is very important that you all know the truth about this business. I shutter every time I hear the commercial on 97.9 The BOXX. The truth will never get a weave for $50. That's just bait advertisement. They charge extra for braiding in a addition, they only use new hair. They will harass you to allow them to cut and style the weave which is not cheap. They have other hidden costs so ask a lot of questions before you go in. And, describe in detail what you want before you go in to get serviced in order to get a price quote. Lastly, if you are getting a weave to allow your natural hair to grow out…beware. They braid extremely tight and sew in extremely tight. You will lose unnecessary hair, especially around the edges.


Not going back. I called to make an appointment for a weave takedown. The lady said oh you don't need one we have someone available to just come in now. I got there at 10:30am and didn't get out until 3:30pm! I went in for a weave takedown and a wash, blow dry, flat iron. The receptionist assigned me to the girl who colors hair bundles and she would start on my hair then someone else came and joined in while she left to color hair, then someone else started the blow drying and flat ironing, then she came back, left again, and came back. Between that I had three people working on my hair and still ended up not finishing until 3:30pm!!!! The flat iron process is not good either. They flat ironed it with no style just straight. My edges were not done either. When I looked in the mirror she was like do you want a curl to it? I said nevermind. I just wanted to get the HELL out of there! Another girl was upset because the hair she asked to be dyed blonde didn't turn out right at all. Unorganized and all over the place here. Won't be returning!!!!!!!
