I LOOOOOVE Sunset Boulevard Animal Clinic. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the clinic is so clean! They really care about the animals. I have used the kennel services as well. You can always tell if the staff is nice to your pet by their reaction when you go to the vet and when you pick them up. All I can say is my dog, Gigi, doesn't dred going to the vet and she is especially cheerful when I pick her up. That says it all!

Dr. Young has been my pet vet since about 93. He has always been so caring and professional.\n\nHe has helped me get thru the deaths of 2 of my beloved companions with such compassion. Before Dr. Young, I had contact with 3 other Dr's. What a difference. I was just another number with the other 3.\n\nI have always been giving a room to greive my loss and have been able to stay as long as needed to say my goodby.\n\nThank you Dr. Young and to your wonderful staff.\n\n
Sunset Blvd Animal Clinic is one of the worsted animal clinics on earth. My puppy had a earache I was charged $500 dollars from these money-grubbing idiots. And they call their self animal lovers who are they fooling. I would not recommend anyone to go there. I would recommend you to drive 100 miles before ever going there. FJ. Handy
I will never bring my pet here again. Sunset uses fear mongering to run up a huge bill.
We were going out of town and arranged to board our cat here. After we dropped her off, the vet called and said that she wasn't eating and gave her an anti-nausea pill, even though she had not vomited. That didn't work so they gave her an appetite stimulant - didn't work either. Then they actually examined her and saw she had mouth ulcers. This is typical of Sunset's incompetence - instead diagnosing her, they shoved different pills down her throat, costing me $ and putting her through treatment she didn't need.
This was 1 of many new problems they claimed she had and we had to pay for. They used fear to pressure us into agreeing to more expenses.
When we picked her up, she was weak, sick looking and strangely dirty, with feces stuck in her fur.
What should have been a $150 bill ended up being $1,000+. Our regular vet told us that Sunset is known for price-gouging. Do not take your pet here.
