a place where food quality was never compromised. Casual setting, but good LA style food. Now, it looks like it's turning into just another ""korean"" restaurant.
On our recent visit, we noticed that they have started using tactics to cut corners. They are starting to cut the meat thin making the amount of pieces look the same as previously. Before, we would get full off of the meat and now we get full off of the rice. Big disappointment.
Unless they make changes soon I dont think we will be eating here no longer. I used to take my family here every week. We might as well save the gas and eat at a local korean restaurant. Just when we thought we found a place that was similar to LA. And LA k-town food is considered just as good or if not better than food in Korea. I know this because I'm originally from Korea. It is just too bad.

I like the idea of all you eat kim chi. The service was exceptional friendly. The place is clean. I like the picture menu, make it easy to order.
The only thing I don't like is that the portion is VERY small for the price you pay. I order the first item, I think A something-the first item on the menu. It is seafood with tofu soup. BUT, the only pieces of seafood I had in that bowl is one small size shrimp and one and 1/2 mussell. The rest is just soft tofu and one egg. I paid about $8 for that bowl filled with tofu. My boyfriend order the clear noodle with beef, but his portion was very small also. There were only couple of pieces of beef in his plate and it cost about 10 bucks. We had much bigger portion with lots of meat in that dish at other Korean restaurants at the same price.
My soup was SUPER hot, it was boiling when it was on my table. I had to put in kimchi to cool it down, but still had to wait for about 10 minutes for it to be edible.
Overall, the portion of the dishes are too small for the price you pay. Consider that it's located in mostly asian community, I would recommend making the portion much bigger or reduce the price. We asian can easily find same great taste of korean food with much cheaper price with that portion.

I thought it was a really nice place. Everyone was nice and since it was my first time at a korean restaurant they helped me make selections. I liked the teriaki chicken.....it was not as sweet as the Japanese version. Since my mother doesn't like it too sweet she thought that it was perfect. My overall review was....it was GOOD!!!!!

Yah i'm not sure if people who write the reviews are Korean, liek to me the food tastesa a little too sweet..btu then again I'm a person who prefers family korean cooking lol soo yah. But I thoguht the food was good but a little too sweet for my taste...and the service was very nice...however i prefer teh atmosphere of the otehr kroean restraunts where it is more friendly and not as busnies like
