Susana gave me a hot stone massage. I asked her to be gentle which she did and gave me the right pressure. I felt very relaxed and enjoyed it. She did an amazing job! Thank you.

My husband purchased a spa teaser gift certificate for me and I made an appointment for Thursday, September 11 at noon. The massage and facial were ok, nothing special. The manicure and pedicure were done with used files and smoothers which I believe is against the law and also unsanitary and dangerous for contracting possible infections. I was not given the chance to pay or dig out my keys before my polish was applied so of course I messed up my nails before I even left. When I went to pay I was told that I owed 'upcharges'. I told them that was impossible because no one had offered me any additional services. I was told that I had a 'gold facial'. I told them that I had no idea what was put on my face while I was in the dark with my eyes covered, but that Heidi the esthetician had not asked me if I would like to add any additional products to my services. When the facial began and my eyes were covered she was examining my skin and telling me what was good and what areas needed improvement. When it came time for a mask she asked me what kind I would like and I told her to choose the one that comes with my package that best suits my skin type as she is the expert not me. She never mentioned that she was putting a mask on my face that was any additional charge let alone that it cost an added 50% of the total cost of the entire gift certificate! I asked to speak to a manager and a man was standing near the front desk stated that the manager was not in. I had another appointment so I paid and left. Today, I called to try to speak to the manager. The person who answered the phone was the same person who rang me up on 9/11/14 and when I asked for the manager she said he was at lunch. I asked her his name and she said Edreck. She also told me that he was the man who told me the manager was not in on 9/11/14, so he lied to my face! I will NEVER be back. It is very bad to reuse manicure/pedicure tools. It is bad business and underhanded to wait until a client is lying down in a dark room with their eyes closed to use a product that is not included in their package and not to ask the client first if they would like to spend the money on an additional product.

My wife and I had a massage here after a trans-Atlantic flight and were really disappointed. Entering through a hair salon the impression is that someone wondered what they could do to an area out the back and came up with the idea they could turn it into a Japanese Spa. The massage I had was strange, no real flow to it, a recognition that I had areas that needed work but then no effort to work those areas! My wife's massage was painful at times despite requests to tone it down a bit and we both came away feeling very rushed and frustrated that we'd paid good money for a very poor product. There are far batter spas in Houston, this is one to avoid.

Susanna is the best masseuse I've ever had. She is the reason I come here. She is wonderful and her techniques change each visit. I can tell she keeps up with learning new techniques.
