This is been my worst experience with a daycare center. The director Chuck Wall and his assistant director Rita are rude and unprofessional when faced with the challenge of dealing with concerned parents. My child was attending robindell since April 19th 2017 and has discontinued attendance as of November 1st 2017. I have had many incidents with the caregivers who do the bare minimum when it comes to taking care of people's children. I have had caregivers steal diapers from other children and put them on my child although he has always had enough diapers for his time in there care. I have had caregivers steal his diapers and give them to other children. I have had caregivers still unopened packs of specialty wipes for my child and replace them with off-brand wipes. The director has acknowledged that has caregivers we're stealing from my child by compensating me for stolen merchandise however those caregivers continue to work at Robindale and they continue to steal from other children. I have had caregivers allow my child to stand for prolonged periods and ant piles that caused him to be covered in 30-plus ant bites on both of his feet up his legs and on his hands and arms. I have had staff members informed me that they have witness other staff mistreating my child and and the staff member took it upon themselves to remove my child for his own safety from other staff members. I have interacted with other parents who are facing the same situation current and previous who are also being told by the director Chuck that these are isolated incidences that are not happening to other children. I have had staff members tell me that it is pointless to talk to the director Chuck about my concerns because he will not do anything unless the state of Texas regulations board give him a monetary fine. Chuck has never gone in with me to supervise or address my concerns with his direct caregivers.
My daughter attended this school for almost three years. In that time period, she had a couple of amazing teachers and a few that were not so great. You can tell which teachers really care about their students and you can definitely tell which ones are just there for a paycheck. Some of them are quick to yell at the kids in a harsh tone and say rude things, and I've seen a teacher drag a child on the ground into the hallway by the arm. The front desk lady at the Kindergarten building (Mrs. Karen) is very sweet and helpful even though she is always super busy. I would say the shining star at this school is Mrs. Chapelle (sp?) She was my daughter's Pre-K teacher and is one of the most involved and nurturing teachers I've seen. She genuinely cared about my daughter and made her feel comfortable. You can tell she really cares about all the kids there. My daughter's Kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Cole and she is a great teacher. My daughter learned so much and is well past where she should be as a First Grader thanks to her. The school is pretty nice and large but it is in a bad neighborhood and if you leave anything valuable in your car it is likely to not be there when you come back out. I would recommend this school if you have a weird schedule since it is 24 hours, but if you can afford a school in a better area, I would do it. All in all I gave the school a 3 because they are pretty much equal in good/bad qualities.
I am a nurse and have been using Robindell now for almost 3 years, both daytime and evening hours, with my changing schedule. I have 3 children and have been very satisfied with this school. Mr. Chuck and his entire staff have never been anything but nice and helpful. My kids have learned so much over the past three years. When I read some of the reviews it really makes me wonder the real reason these people left this center as I have watched things closely and have had no problems with the care, cleanliness, food or staff of this school. I highly recommend this school.
do not enter. do not place your most precious possession in the hands of these people. your kid will stay sick. I observed workers stepping on toys then giving to the babies to play with, workers giving kids other babies bottle. just nasty and don't care attitude from most of the workers. one star given because I couldn't give zero star!
Summer is here and my kids have never been so excited about going to daycare. They have an awesome summer program and the kids are doing really neat arts and crafts projects, going on field trips off campus twice a week and having a splash day where they get to play on a splash pad and a huge water slide. They can t wait for splash day each week on Fridays. I don t think they are going to let me miss one. They are going to Moody Gardens, Kemah, Astros Game, Nasa, Zuma, Moneky Joes ITZ and other placed. Prices aren't bad either. I can t think of a better place for the money to put them in a summer program that is going to keep them this excited about coming to school.

They are open round the clock 7 days a week. If my daughter is sick on Monday, we can take her Sunday and it gives us a chance to have a ""date"" or do other items, for which a child is not always so convenient to have around. They are a fabulous school and I am truly grateful to have found them.

My child enjoys coming to Robindell. She loves the teachers. When I pick her up in the evening she never wants to leave. She enjoys playing with the other children. My daughter is 2 years old now. I feel comfortable leaving my child here and not looking to send her anywhere else. The school is always clean, lovable, teachers and nice environment for kids.
I must say, as a new mother, they give boost of confidence and peace of mind to know that they are so capable of looking after my daughter. From the moment we walk into the building, not just her classroom, we are greeted, so they are very aware of who is entering and exiting the infant building. they have separation of age groups. they take the children out for daily walks, sing songs, have group interactions, and are on point with the feedings. they always change her diaper before the ride home, as well are in constant communication when supplies are low, if they notice a change in her behavior, or if she seems to need or want a particular thing. we have meetings on if they think she is ready for the next step or phase of food.

My son attended this daycare as an alternate daycare on the weekends! The place was very clean and appeared to be organized. However when I enrolled my son full time in this daycare it was a nightmare and I regret the emotional trama that my son experianced by this place. Every day that I would take my son he would cry and hold on to me. This was not normal behavior from him since he attended daycare since a infant. When I would pick my son up he would have scratches and soild clothing. When I attempted to address the daycare about it I was told that I would have to speak with the owner. When I spoke with this man he was very cold and had no concern about the childrens well being and I was advised that I didnt have to bring my child back. He also made comments about the children and parents that was not professional. I was shocked since I address the issues in a nice respectful way out of concern for my child. I decided at that point my son would not attend a place where he feared the staff and was not taken properly care of . I moved him to another daycare and had no issues. When a parent leaves thier children in daycare you should feel like they are safe and in good hands physically and emotionally and this was not the place. Parents please do your research on places before you take your children!!!!!

my daugther is in this school since she was an infant. I never have any problem in the nursery, but since she moved to 2 years class the problem started. There is no more attension about learning program. There are so many children in the class not all of them got the opportunity for learning. There is no enough educational activies in the class. The teachers who care of 2 years some of them are so mean and have a bad attitude. They treated the children differentally. If they love one, they give him/her more attension than the other. This is really so bad. I wish they change this behaviour becasue it will affect the children who did not have more attension.
Please do not take your children to Robindell!! They don't care about your kids... I work across the street from the daycare, so I keep an eye on my baby as he plays outside.. and all I hear is the teachers yelling and screaming at the children. My son comes home starving from school.. as if they don't feed him or don't give him enough time to finish his food. They don't have enough care givers, when incidents happens they don't want to show you the video. The owner (Chuck) is a rude, and the other owner (his mom) don't even know her way around the place!.. all they want is their check at the end of the week...
I truly don't recommend this daycare to no one.
This parent was kicked out of our center. Her child was bitten by another child and she freaked out. She wanted the parents of 2 year old who bit her child's to serve jail time. Whe was cursing everyone in the office out including the director. I feel sorry for whoever is dealing with her now!

Both of my kids attend school here and have been going here for about 3 years. The only problems that I have is the 1 - 2 year old age group. When my son was in that group there was not enough educational or stimulating activies to keep the kids from just getting bored and fighting all day. They fought over toys a lot in his class rooms. I was told that they don't do instructional learning at that age because the kids won't sit still. His previous daycare Kindercare had 18 mth old kids doing daily crafts, coloring, and learning colors and shape. Of course they were way more expensive so you get what you pay for. Once he graduated into the 3 year old age group they have instructional learning and my son is adding subtracting reading simple words writing daily and his class is learning phonics in english and spanish. This is a good option for kids older than 3 and younger than 15mths. But parents remember that you have to stay on top of teachers if they are not treating your kids right. If you kid is coming home with diaper rashes, scratches etc. you need to contact the director. I have had these issues and they were resolved immediately. Management staff is very responsive to parent complaints and they are quick to fire a teacher for mistreating kids. over the years we have had really good teachers and really crappy teachers but the teachers they have now are way better than the ones they had when we first started.

The center is huge which was a concern for me at first, but each building has it's own office area and is run almost like a seperate school for each age group. I have a 12 mo old and 3 year old and both of my sons teachers are out very sweet. My baby is always happy when I come to pick him up, and my 3 year old always seems entertained. They gave me a curiculum guideline for the 3 year old and from what I can see the teachers do a good job teaching not just playing which was important to me. The summer's were also great because they have thier own splash pad and inflatable waterslides for the children. My older son could not wait for splash day each week. I also found the facility to be very secure. They have security gaurds on site every day when I pick up at around 7pm, I'm told he stays there all night long. Overall I have had nothing but positive vibes from the school. I would highly recommend it which I have to several of my friends. I think they have a wait right now for infants under 12 months which means they must be doing something right. My youngers son's teacher has been there for 23 years. Wow!

I enrolled my two sons (ages 2 & 4) in Robindell since they were a 24 daycare, and my husband works 2nd shift and I on weekends. The staff was always very nice and helpful, but there are just too many kids for the teachers. Frequently I would go in to pick up my kids, and they would run off the playground and out to my car, without a teacher or staff noticing. The final straw was when I went to pick them up, and my 4 year old turned up missing. No teacher knew were he was. After 1/2 hour, they found him in another building across the street. It just is not a safe environment.

I?m a college student who needed to complete an assignment observing a day care. I contacted Robindell Private School as suggested by one of my friends. When I called the place I was told to stop by the facility and talk to the person in charge of internships. To my surprise when I was there they told me I could not observe the facility. I wonder why they wouldn?t let me look at it! This is strange, because the other child care centers I contacted were very polite and more than willing to help out with my assignment. If I were a mother, certainly, this wouldn?t be a place I would consider safe for my child. Do they have something to hide? Who knows

My kids just started attending Robindell only because their previous daycare which was Shining Star stopped opening 24/7 And alot pf people recommended that robindell was a good 24 hour daycare. Now dont get me wrong it is a nice place and the staff is very friendly and helpful, but they just have too many kids to focus on all of them and sometimes they cant even remember where my kids are half the time meaning anybody could snatch my child and they not notice! I remember quite a few times i walked in got my child and left and no one even noticed me leaving with my child,They do have a security guard at night but still anyone can just walk in and out of the daycare anytime they want and thats just not scure at all to me.

My son enjoyed his day there, but it was an awful experience for me as a mother. I needed a place that could watch my 4 year old on a saturday because I had to work, and they are open on saturdays, 24 hours I think. There was no security whatsoever, I think any stranger could have went in and taken my son if they wanted to. There had to be like 1 teacher per 20 kids, TONS of kids, corralled in the gym and in the outdoor playground. The teacher had no interest in who I was, because she was so busy yelling at all the kids. When I arrived to pick him up, no one knew where he was. I had to go through a swarm of kids and ask 3 different teachers if my son was in her class. Also, his nap blanket come up missing. My son said he had a fun time, but I will never leave him there again. It doesnt seem safe. Not recommended.
