Teo family members have had memorial services here almost exactly 1 year apart. In each service, there have been huge audio problems.
In the service about a year ago (May 2014), they began to play a song (very loudly) in the middle of a prayer. Big, screeching noises happened in the middle of the most recent service-while the minister was speaking. In the most recent service (May 2015), the microphone had dead batteries when the service started. The lady working there had to stop the sermon, walk across the chapel, and replace the batteries. That should have been checked before it started.
The family requested additional seating for this second service but the lady working there said we didn't need it. At the time the service was supposed to begin, we told her the lobby was still full because there was no seating. That was when she finally agreed to add chairs. So the service started 15-20 minutes late because she was not prepared and could not read the crowd as they entered to see that she did not have enough seating for everyone.
Do your loved ones a favor and find a place that can honor them with dignity and avoid these very preventable mistakes.
