My water heater stopped working for no reason and despite desperately trying to fix it (with a hammer) i just couldn't get it to work. So i called a technician from One Call Services. They responded quickly and voila! they were able to get it up and running. Thanks Guys!
I heard via the plumber that he literally stopped what they were doing and came to my home to help with my plumbing issue. I'm a bit embarrassed now for the panicked reaction, but it seemed that none of our shut off valves were working and I was freaking out that the water wouldn't stop! Thank you again, your techs are awesome and I highly recommend One Call to anyone!
After coming home from work to find my AC had quit, I assumed Iâ??d have to suffer a night of misery before anyone could come take a look at my system. One Call advertised 24/7 emergency service, so I rang them up. Two hours later, I have AC again! Thanks!
My faucet has had a slow drip for months, but I always assumed it would be a giant hassle to get such a small leak replaced. After reading on One Callâ??s blog that this could be costing me hundreds per year, I gave them a call. A master plumber was at my door in an hour, replaced the faucet gasket, and out the door again for only $99!
I didn’t know whether I needed a brand new HVAC system or what the problem was, so I called One Call after I saw they advertised free diagnostics. Sure enough they had a truck out the same day I called, explained what was wrong, and even offered to let me shop around for estimates. Even better, they didn’t charge me a dime until I decided to have them perform the work. Thank you so much!

Call around! I called multiple other companies for a second opinion and the quote one call gave me was by far the most expensive (example: cost of R22 freon). they may not charge for a service fee to come see your unit, but that is because the parts and repairs are upcharged. the technician that came out found everything under the sun wrong with the unit. that is okay to give recommendations on what could happen in the future, but this was not what this man was doing. when i asked further questions, i found himself circling around in his answers and never got a clear picture. it was clear he thought i would fold into accepting all the repairs he was recommending. we live in a nice place, and this commonly happens. i do not appreciate up charges based on judgements about what we can afford. even if this is not the case, they were still more expensive than other companies. I will not be using this company again nor will i recommend them to others.

I have been a homeowner for over 30 years in one Houston location or the other. I can tell you that I have never hired a better company than One Call. I recieved an estimate that I thought was high. I paid the technician $90 for the service call and found One call on the internet. Edgar sent a tech that same day. The replaced my AC unit with a new one withen hours and charged me over $1000 less than that original estimate! Boy am I glad I did not accept that first estimate. One Call has since serviced my rent homes and done plumbing work for me. If you have a problem I recommend you make ONE CALL. They are the best!!!

I am impressed and pleased with One Call Services. Pat the plumber came to my house to address several plumbing issues I was having. He obtained a quick understanding of my plumbing issues and identified several things that needed to be repaired. I could tell he was very knowledgeable and experienced. He gave me direct answers to my questions and I could tell he took great pride in his work. I plan to request him for my future plumbing work. I will certainly recommend One Call Services for fast and friendly service.

Recently a pilot light went out in my attic water heater, and while I was up there investigating, I also noticed that my air conditioner's water pan was about to overflow.
So I went to Google and looked up ""air-conditioning repair, Houston"" and immediately noticed all of the great reviews for a company I had never heard of -- One Call.
On this alone, I telephoned them - and within an hour - they had someone come out to check the water heater thoroughly for any leaks or other problems. The repairman suggested that I have a specialist from their company contact me for a follow-up on my water pan problem, and by the end of the day, an appointment was set for the following day. He made recommendations without being pushy in any way, showing me exactly where the problems were and explained my options.
Not being one to do patch-quilt repairs, I ordered a new system for the back portion of the house, which included entirely new ductwork, blower, condenser -- the works.
I was thinking the job would take at least 4 days, but when the job started on a Thursday morning at 9 am, their people were in and out of here by 4pm the same day! There was no dirt anywhere. No evidence that they were even here, in spite of the enormous amount of machinery and duct components going in and out of the house.
Frankly, I couldn't be happier with what they did, and in an age where service is becoming a lost art, this company is a breath of fresh air.

A/C went out early on a Sunday morning. Got the answering machine for One Call which indicated someone would call back within 5 minutes - less than 5 minutes later I got a call from Edgar.
He was at my place 30 minutes later. Quickly diagnosed the issue (bad capacitator) and immediately replaced it. The whole visit took less than 30 minutes and the price was beyond reasonable.
GREAT find. Will recommend them without reservation.

I called another A/C company out to look over my system because it was not working. They said the whole thing needed to be replaced. I had Eric from One Call come out and he found shredded wires on my out door unit. He replaced the wire and the A/C worked like a charm.

I had a lot of problems with my bathroom and sink, and my landlord told me to consult a couple plumbers and he would paid for it. My apartment is a fourplex that was built in the 30s so I was skeptical when a few people told me it was going to be a small repair. I called about 5 plumbers who all told me different things on the phone. Edgar at One Call said he'd come over and look at it FOR FREE. He's the only one that said that, so I said OK.
When he and his crew got there, they looked at my appliances for a few minutes and honestly told me what was wrong. I was impressed that they didn't say ""Oh you need a whole new system for $2000,"" they just told me that there was a little repair that needed to be done, and did I want them to begin or keep looking around. I told them to go for it!
So the inspection was free, the plumbing tune-up was about $70 and it still works fine, good as new! They also looked at my equally old Air Conditioning for free, too. I will definitely be back to One Call when I'm ready and I've already told my friends to CALL EDGAR when they've got a problem or question!
