I am very satisfied with my experiences here. They are professional and welcoming and I appreciate the clear quotes and recommendations they give for follow-up services. It's weird that you see different dentists and hygenists constantly, but it's also like having a second opinion on every procedure.
I read a mixture of reviews about this dentist, mostly bad which in turn made me nervous for my appointment. I showed up and was greeted by Gigi at the front desk, she was so friendly and made me feel more comfortable and less nervous. I filled out my paperwork, and I was called in right away. Just to inform everyone, I HATE going to the dentist but I needed a cleaning and one of my teeth was keeping me in pain. I was given a tour of the office and the hygienist took her time and explained everything to me as we went along. She was thorough and super nice which also made me feel less nervous. The doctor came in afterwards and checked on my teeth. She then explained the issue about the tooth I was concerned about and gave me possible routes we could take. She made sure to answer every question I had and not once did I feel rushed in this office. For the first time I had a great experience at the dentist office and I look forward to going back.
Also, all of the old reviews I read about were not true. I read you be able to see the person getting worked on in the next room...not true. I was in my own space so they must have fixed that or someone was overexxagerating. They also spoke of the massage seating in the waiting room and how the high prices were covering all of that. Well, there were no massage chairs but the seating was comfortable and the decor was modern and classy. I was given a prescription for antibiotics and I only paid $6.00. I'm sure the outrageous prices are because of the different types of insurance people have.
Personally, I have gone to one other dentist down here (I've lived here for a little over a year and half) and it was a mediocre place that had me feeling like I needed another round of cleaning because they rushed me out the door and barely looked at my teeth. If I have to pay a little extra for a nice place with great people and great service then I have no problem with that.
My husband and I as well as my 88 year old mother have gone to
Memorial Park Dental-Spa for more that 5 years and have had very professional services at every visit. I used their Invisalign program and was so happy with the results! Staff is friendly and open to questions. Run, don't walk to Memorial Park Dental, Dr. Thomas has been rated as one of the top dentists in Houston; and her staff follows her example.

Without a doubt, this dentist provides a fancy office and offers a ""free"" massage. However, I'd say their prices are far beyond other places, so I'm not sure how ""free"" that massage really is in the long run.
I didn't find their business practices to be especially transparent. As a consumer, I should have been savvier in figuring out how much would be covered by my insurace. They ""take"" your insurance, but they are out of network in most cases. AND, their fees are more than twice the ""usual"" fees, so it adds up!
So, my rating isn't a review of the service, which was adequate, so much as the business transaction component. I didn't find them to be exceptional enough to warrant the fees they charge. They can keep the free cookies, massage and teeth whittening kits....maybe they should focus on fair market prices.

Just wanted to share with all the Houston area what a great dentist Dr. Thomas is! This office was so amazing and I have never been so pleased with dental care as I was here. They give a free massage once a year to all patients and lifetime free whitening. There is not a dentist in Houston that gives anything like that for free, all most of them give is a free toothbrush! Its a very spa like atmosphere you must experience it for yourself.
P.S. You also get a goody bag with a free toothbrush!

Dont be fooled by the nice furniture, location, and ""freebies"".
If youre interested in a massage go to a massage parlor.
She is not a very good dentist and the hygienist is not very thorough.
I was in the office over two hours for just a regular check up and cleaning. I only saw the dentist for like two minutes and the cleaning was only five.
Plus they are notorious for trying to upsell , such as deep cleaning.
Im not even going back for my second visit. Im having my fillings done elsewhere.
I go to the dentist 2X a year and never have any problems, I just decided to try them because they are close to my home.
They told me my gums and teeth were bad and tried to sell me over $1000 of service.
I went to another dentist a week later for a 2nd opinion and he told me my mouth looked great.
I guess they need to upsell to pay for all the extras - but if you are more concerned with your teeth than your massage, go to a real dentist.
I have no idea how she was ever named best dentist in Houston...terrible terrible terrible.

Previous statement must have done something wrong or confused this place with another. I scheduled my massage and whitening appointment today right after my cleaning! This place was great and the doctor really seemed to know what she was talking about. I dont understand why the other comment was so wrong
