Overall
Homemade food that tastes delicious. Best Enchiladas in Texas.

I am a regular customer since 1991. Their friendly staff and tasty food keep me going there. All food items taste great. To me, their speciality is their beef enchiladas, migas and their green sauce.

Good Food

This is good food, for a low price, the service is great most of the time, but there is this one waitress (not maria) that seems not to like me. she always seems to be slow, and get my order wrong. as far as the facility being dirty, I've never found anything in my food that wasn't suposed to be there. Great place to eat.

Overall
Great Mexican food, but they don't pay attention to cleanliness!!!

My philosophy is ""two strikes and your OUT.""

We were ?regulars? for 2+ years (one to twice a week). I took my son in one day for lunch and half way through his burrito he found a piece of a sweet-n-low package that someone had torn off to pour it in their drink. Quite upsetting and he couldn?t eat the remainder of the burrito, we showed it to the waitress who knew us, and she apologized. One Strike.

A few months later we were in for Sunday breakfast, and half way through my glass of water I noticed it tasted sweet. I examined it closely and found that the bottom of the glass had about a ?? of sugar compacted from the previous user who I assumed didn?t know how to stir the sugar into his tea. Quickly I realized who my son felt a few months earlier. Rather than make a scene and upset everyone else?s breakfast, I sat quietly as my stomach pitched and rolled as I couldn?t get the ?sweetness? out of my mouth. Strike Two, and they are OUT.

Too Bad, the food was great and we really enjoyed Sunday mornings at LA Plaza. But their lack of attention to hygiene was too much to overcome, not to mention the reoccuring thought every time pass the restaurant.
