Avoid this practice. The staff is highly unprofessional. They will schedule you for unnecessary procedures that aren't covered by your insurance, without giving you the option to decline. They charge exorbitant fees if you reschedule your appointment on less than 24 hours notice - which does not provide flexibility for those with work or family emergencies as I had.

I was a little scared to try a new dentist considering I had always gone to the same one since I was a kid, but after I moved to Houston I decided to go to see one closer to where I lived. I found Dr. Farahbod using google search for dentist in my area, so I gave them a call and had an appointment the next week. My appointment went great! The front desk staff was super friendly, (they even send you reminder texts so you don't forget your appt) and I didn't wait long before I was seen either. Dr. Farahbod was really nice and made me feel very comfortable while working on my teeth. The only negative thing about my visit was the fact I had a cavity... :( But I will be seeing Dr. Farahbod again soon to have it taken care of.

I had a great experience with Dr. Farahbod and her staff. Her office is very welcoming and feels like a home instead of a dental office. When I met with Dr. Farahbod she explained in detail the treatment that I needed and spent alot of time with me. It was easy to ask her questions and I felt comfortable, not rushed.
I look forward to seeing her again! I had a great experience and my kids have an appointment with her soon.

When I told her that her cleaning with Powerwash was hurting me, she said, ""We do it this way because it's faster.. We're almost done."" She continued to use Powerwash for another 10 painful minutes, rather than switch to the traditional (and, for me, painless) manual method, I guess because it's faster and therefore saves her money in man-hours.
She asks many personal questions while she has your mouth propped open and instruments in your mouth, so that you can't possible respond. Not yes/no questions, but open-ended questions looking for an answer. But she never pulls her instruments out of your mouth to give you a chance to answer, so all you can do is try to gargle a response. And all of this personal chatter has nothing to do with your teeth or educating you about your teeth.
