I've had nothing but problems with the shedding of my shaw carpet. I've called Design carpet about 12x's in the past 6mths with no returned call, no help at all. I feel like I'm on my own here. I went to another floor store where they told me that shaw would be responsible and filing a report is not difficult. I just have no idea why the managers and owners are avoiding me. I'm very upset. If you want to avoid problems. Avoid Design Carpets!

I'd researched carpet retailers and read a lot of complaints, the vast experiences were poor, so I was very cautious in contracting out our whole-house reflooring. I selected Design Carpet because of their long history in the area, their warranty and their costs. They came close to the price of the Big Box store, but surpassed their warranty, so I went with Design Carpet. I ended up with a premium carpet and underpad (1,500 sqft), premium hardwood flooring (500 sqft), and a little vinyl (14 sqft), all at a highly competitive cost to the Big Box Store. The Vinyl has been a minor issue and Design Carpet has happily stepped up, I've only had to place the call; no arguing, no fuss, no discussion, no responsibility shuffle, just a question as to when the best day for me is for the repair! Their install teams have been with the company for YEARS, their Staff have been with the company for YEARS, and they are LOCAL. It's nice to hear people are happy with their work, their employer, and company; it shows in the end product.
