I just read the review made by the man who called him self a christian and I must say that I don't believe a word he said or wrote about this shop.
Cliff and his wonderful wife are the kind of people who deserve the utmost respect, and they have certainly earned my respect and they have also earned my trust to work and repair my vehicles. I know of one person (a customer of Cliff) that drives all the way from the Galleria area just so Cliff can work on his car; and infact, I know that this person's mother in-law will not allow any one to diagnose, work or not even touch her vehicle except for Cliff.
It is a shame that some people use religion to gain sympathy or advantage; this man sounds like he needs peace with in. Maybe one day when his vehicle leaves him stranded, he will then realize that he should have more trust in people rather than prejudge them and lash out at them like the way he did.
By the way, I am also a foreign born and I am also an American citizen, which I am very proud to be. And despite the fact that I have an accent; it has never made a deference for me.
First of all I just want to say that I am a Christian, a Caucasian white male and a father of two, foreign born, but an American citizen for over 10 years, I have a Law degree in my native country and I speak 5 languages (English with a accent, a key factor in my story )I mentioned that because most of the people would be fooled by the 5 stars reviews that everybody knows are "made" and written by friends and family. Don't let yourself fooled .Definitely I had a lot of better things to do than writing this review.But simply somebody needs to stop these thieves from predating on other consumers. My review it's very simple : RUUUUUUNN and don't look back. They are simply the classic "bait and switch" shop who would take your shirt of your back for a simple repair. Like a wheel alignment in my case. Long story short, dropped the car at 8.30 AM in their shop for a simply wheel alignment being told would be done in a couple of hours. Around 11am I called the shop to give me an estimate. They told me that they didn't find anything else wrong with the car and that the alignment would cost me around 68 dollars. I agreed to the price (high but still acceptable), I politely thank for consideration and asked when would I be able to pick up the car. "Will give you a call in a few hours" ...was the answer. I need to mention that all this dialogue was made with the wife of the owner, the source of evil in this shop.Around 1.45 PM on that day I called again to inquire about the status of my repair.And here starts the disaster.......I am told by the same wife (where was the mechanic ????) that they had to make "some"changes in my initial diagnostic, BS-ing me with technicalities that had nothing to do with my car, and now the new estimate would be around 440 dollars !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, I let you judge this "establishment"
Obviously I realized immediately that since I speak with an accent, they thought I am stupid enough to pay that ridiculous amount for a job that takes maxim an hour of labor.I was so upset that in less than 15 minutes I was at the shop , picked up the car and drove it half a mile down the road were they fixed it for me for $ 42.75 !!!!!!! A fraction of the astronomical cost these "honest" people .And the car runs like a new !!!!!! I admit that I made a scene in the shop, it was 2 PM in the afternoon, car still not fixed and was asked 400 dollars for something that was done somewhere else in 45 minutes for less than 43 dollars !!!!!!!!!!! The owner got the nerve to write me a message in my facebook account with threats and discriminatory words. Well at this very moment The General Attorney has my official complaint about all these, including the discriminatory treatment ( if you are not white and speak with an accent you're doomed if you repair your car there), I have a friend who works for the IRS and also asked her to help initiate an audit of their books ( $40 to $440 seems like money laundry to me ) and also filled an official complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair and Better Business Bureau because we need to stop these vultures stealing hard-earned money from people in need.

Don't even blink not to mention think , to use Cliff's Car Tech to fix your car, you might as well buy a brand new one and still would cost you less !!!!
Cliff and his wife are friendly, considerate and most of all knowledgeable regarding ALL things CAR. They stand by the quotes they give and Cliff will always provide you with the best solution for YOU even if it means he doesn't make a profit. From here on out he is my go to guy for car issues.
Stop by and see him the next time you're having car trouble. Tell him Carolyn sent you (no I don't get referral discounts, lol). :-)
I grew up around a shop because my dad owns one, and I can tell you that I have been screwed around by and my cars have seen many dishonest mechanics.
Several people I know told me that Cliff, the owner, was good and honest. I took my car there when I had 3 different problems going on and Saturn was screwing around and charging high prices. With the economy and GM's current financial issues, I didn't want to take it back to Saturn, so I had Cliff look at it.
For a considerably less diagnostic charge, he found a short in the steering column which he said would have been the cause of all three problems that my car was having. He also said that it would need to be fixed by Saturn because the steering column would have to be replaced and programmed. He said he could replace the part but it would cost me more in the long run and I would have to have the car towed to Saturn for the programming. He also looked up the part and estimated the cost of repair from Saturn and when I called Saturn to get a quote found that Cliff was dead on.
I will definately take my car back to Car-Tech of Langham Creek! He does have integrity and doesn't recommend unnecessary work but does give you his best recommendation, even it if means lost work for him.
I Highly Recommend taking your car to Car-Tech. Cliff is a Master Technician...in every sense of the word...
