Well, I was skeptical to contact another duct cleaning company after getting an invoice for $800 to deal with mold. Mr. Estovan came out and walked me through recommendations on my unit in the attic. Just moved into new house needing some work and let me tell you, it's is hard to find good people not trying to take advantage of you. Estovan is a good guy. Gave me great quote showed me what steps I can take for maintenance of unit. Can't say enough good things about him; he restored my faith about people that really do care about the work they do verses the profits they bring in. Do not doubt the legitimacy of my post, I was just like you looking to find somebody who knows their stuff and will shoot me straight. ESTOVAN WITH CLEAN AMERICA IS THAT GUY. Call em up, have em come out and see for yourself.
Horrile service, bought the groupon, voucher stated will clean all air and dyer duct. The did everything probably within 20mins, I know its not that fast to clean air duct, I'm a girl but not stupid! Then he said my place has mold and refuse to clean of of the vent...wtf??? I dont think he even clean the dryer vent...he was busy yapping about extra service i needed!!! How about finish your JOB first then give me your input instead just yapping about mold and sanitizing all the vent. DO NOT REPEAT DO NOT USE THEM, NOT WORTH A DIME!!!!!
This business is a typical SCAM. Yes, the repairman fixed a blown capicitor, but other companies have told me since they charged me twice what they should have. Also, I had called them from a coupon found in Valpak and the coupon was for 15% off any reapir or new unit installation. I asked the tech about it after he made up my invoice and he said that he already figured it in. I spoke with the manager/owner days later and he said he would look into it. Yeah right!!! Do not give these SCAM artists your business EVER!!!
I called Clean Air America out to help with my sons allergies .... when the crew got here they were very helpful and knowledgeable they took me to my attic and showed me a lot of mold in my system... I was shocked and scared for my son... after we sat down and talked about my options i decided to let them treat the system ...after about 2 hours of cleaning they took me back up and showed me how clean the system was... its been about 3 months now my system is still clean and my sons allergies have almost disappeared ... they were very Professional and knowledgeable i would never use another company thanks
Bought the coupon from one of the online deals. Took a day off to wait at home for them to come and they didn't show up at the first appointment. Waste a day. Made another appointment. Same as the other reviewer's experience, they came up with a photo saying found mold and asking $500 to remove it. My significant other half didn't suspect and paid. Now that seeing other people's comments I think it's their scam. Beware...
Be cautious using this company. We paid $49 for a Living Social Voucher to use CleanAir America on a "Whole House" Air Duct Cleaning deal. On arrival they would not honor the voucher on a whole house basis, saying that whole house cleaning was only for houses with one air conditioning unit and ours had three units (there was nothing on the voucher to indicate this in the fine print). More worryingly they showed me 3 photos on one of their mobile phones of an a/c unit (allegedly ours) covered in serious black mold that was apparently life threatening and an endangerment to our family. They offered to rectify the situation using a spray cleaner for a little over $4,000 at a slight discount provided I sign the contract on the spot. We were very skeptical about the mold, having our a/c units serviced regularly and sure enough upon close inspection later that day we could not find any traces of mold on any of the three a/c units. The photos I was shown appear to have been bogus and not photos of our a/c units. The diagnostic data behind the photos had also been deleted and there was evidence to suggest that the photos had not been taken by a mobile phone at my house that day.
I waited 6 hours today for Clean Air to show up at my house as promised to look at my a/c problem. 6 hours later after repeated calls NO SHOW and very rude on the phone. But this is the part I am laughing about. Today I had spoken to the owner of Clean Air Ido 'Joe' Polak and was given excuse after excuse for the poor service. Well I finally gave up and called another service company that got me up and running in 30 mins. When I went to post this review I started looking at some of CCA's past good reviews..they were posted by the owner of the company himself..MR POLAK...OMFG..ARE YOU SERIOUS?
