Excellent Jazz Music with a Welcoming Atmosphere

This is a great place to settle down after a long days work. The adult atmosphere is great and the lighting (soothing) is just right. The variety of music that is presented could be enjoyed by everyone.

My Experiences everytime are great!

YES! THIS PLACE IS VERY EXQUISITE. (if that's how you spell it.) the atmosphere is nice for you and a spouse/lover or for your friends. The music everytime I went is very nice. Excellent singers and musicians. Bathrooms very clean and decorated well. The first time I did go they had a wonderful chef who was cooking great pasta dishes it seem like on a hot plate right in front of you and u pick the choice of meats and veggies. I am so ready to throw a party there.

Great Experience

I went there this past Sunday for the first time. I am sure Sunday is the slow night, but it was perfect. Maybe 30 people, entertaining band on the stage who invited their singing friends on stage to join in. Drinks were ok, but the atmosphere made up for it. Excellent bathrooms(important for the ladies). The staff was friendly, not overworked, and enjoying the sounds as well. The crowd that night was mainly young black folk... mid 20's to mid 30's. Although all people were welcomed. Awesome group of people. No one cared what anyone was dressed in or rode in....... everyone was just enjoying the music and drinks. I feel bad posting this.... i don't want this spot to become too well known. Im selfish.

Adagio - A nice suprise

Cafe Adagio was a great alternative to the Red Cat or Sambuca's. The music area holds about 50 people plus the bar. They have a second conversation area for those who need a little distance from the stage. The turn out was light but enthusiastic. The music was great. The second set was dynamite with great solos from the lead guitar and drummer. The sax was really solid. As always the vocals were over powered by the band. A shame.

The lighting was mood modifying but not dark. The staff were friendly and attentive. The kitchen came out with free offerings of chili and corn bread that really hit the spot. The cover was typical. The house drink prices were a little over the top. Hope their kitchen develops a lite menu.

Definitely in the repeat category. Could become a favorite hangout on a weekend
