No Tooth Extractions

I have been going to this dentist on a regular basis for some dental treatments they proposed that I needed. Everything was wonderful; the original dentist made sure that I knew everything that was going to happen to me and why. I loved that he made sure everything was spelled out for me and that I was comfortable. The rest of the staff was nice and professional.

The problem came in when it was time to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I chose to have them all pulled on the same day. The oral surgeon who extracted my teeth was not the same dentist that had been doing the treatments. Even though she was very nice, I honestly do not believe she used enough numbing agent for my gums. I could feel when ever she got close the the nerves with the drill. I almost climbed out of the chair several time due to the pain. She pulled and hammered at all of my wisdom teeth from about 11:00am till about 3:30pm. I actually started crying during the procedure because it was taking so long and because it was so painful.

After the procedure I had to call twice to request more pain medication because she had not given me enough, even though she admitted before I left that my teeth were strong and difficult to extract.

I have also called the office to let her know that the bottom part of my lip is still numb (this happened 5 days ago) and she has not yet returned my phone call to address this.

Bottom line, this is an ok place for anything and everything but tooth extractions.
