This place has two faces but ignore the Blazer and Blue rinse crowd and make it your own. I am always in Jeans and a T shirt when I go here and have never felt overdressed.
If you need a quiet chat with someone then outside is best although the booths inside are dapper but it can get too loud when crowded.
I always get by sitting outside here in the early evening and sinking a glass or two of Pinot Grigio and dining Al Fresco on the Portobello & Goat Cheese salad or the Beef Carpaccio. These two dishes alone are worth the visit. Should you want something more substantial then the Milanese is amongst the best I have ever tasted.
The bar staff can be a bit snooty, just depends who you get serving you. There is one barperson here who has their head so far up their posterior that they can see the back of their incisors but that can happen in most restaurants of this genre. Just put your cool head on and go to the pavement patio if you can't be doing with it.
My usual rule about Minstrone and Zabaglione (per my review of Maggiano's, wot?! you never read it? ) has to be waived here, but there are always exceptions to the rule and, it's my rule so I can break it if I want OK?
Wine list is good but a bit pricey for the real stuff.
Parking is easy, lots of other good places close by. I like it.

Arturo's is on the short list for best restaurant in Houston, a great dining city. There is a lot of free parking, the place is not overly loud and it's lovely, the staff is helpful and the food is outstanding. The new chef has ramped up the level by several notches. They even have a great steak.

The waiter told us today was the first day for their new menu, so we decided to give the new items a chance. Good move on our part. The Caprese with big juicy tomato slices and buffalo mozzerella (much tastier than regular mozz) was a big hit with my wife. I had a dried beef and agugula app. that was equally good. She, the health freak, had a whole wheat pasta with spinach and avocado that was very tasty. I had a pasta with lobster that was as good as anything could be. I think a really good restaurant is in the process of becoming a truly great one.

went there with a group of 10 and had a great time there. We had very picky eaters with us but we all loved the food. Calamari and mussels for appetizers were very, very good. I had the veal and it was delicious. The restaurant is very upscale and maybe a bit stuffy, but it's not unreasonably priced. It's a tough reservation to get and they even turned away 2-somes so call early. You won't regret the experience.

I've always liked the food here, but it has definitely gotten even better on my last few visits (We are regulars). Good job by a bunch of nice guys. The veal chop special and the steak are my favorites, the wife loves the snapper and clam pasta dish. Keep it up, Mr. Sadler, and you will keep us.
I went to Arturos for the first time last night due to a recommendation from a friend and absolutely loved it! The food is delicious and the outdoor patio is gorgeous . The atmosphere is calm and professional which can be appreciated after a long hectic day at work, and I will definitely be coming back! Cheers to a fabulous place

We have been going here since it opened a few years ago and after our dinner last Friday we are going to keep going. I had a wonderful ravioli and my husband had a veal chop special that may be the best meat dish ever. He also ordered the rissotto, tho I warned him I had it before and it was just basically American rice and gravy with no resemblence to the real Italian dish. To our delight they have changed the recipe and now it is made with the correct rice, which makes all the difference in the world. Next time I'm ordering what he had. Arturo's keeps getting better and better.

I will never step food inside this place again! I almost swallowed a ring -shaped piece of metal about two-thirds the size of penny that was in my pasta dish.
A friend decided to hold her birthday dinner here on a Thursday evening. It did not take long for us to be seated, and service was decent. For the price, the food could have been much better though. Everything on menu was very pricey. We started of with calamari, which was good. I had the Chicken Pesto, but it was very bland so I had to ask for Tabasco sauce to add some flavor and spice to my dish. I had eaten a little less than half my dish when bit into something hard that I thought was a bone since i had ordered a chicken dish. I was very surprised that it was a piece of metal when I took it out of my mouth. When I called the waiter over and showed him what I had found in my dish, he gave me the excuse that it was something that came from the dishwasher. He asked me what I wanted to do, but didn't apologize or offer to comp my meal. Another person had to come out, and tell me that they would take care of my meal. Later he came and told me that desert would be on the house, but when the bill came I was shocked to see I had been charged for it. The waiter's excuse was that the restaurant had already comped the main dish so they would comp the desert as well. Total lack of courtesy from a restaurant. You can get better service and food at a better price from Olive Garden.

As a regular at Arturo's I heard there was a chef change at Arturo's and so four of us went over to give it a try. We all agreed that the food was as good, or better, than ever. We each had our favorites (fish special, veal chop, a seafood stew and sausage pasta) and all were excellent. Service still friendly and helpful. Good to see a favorite restaurant get even better.

The place is great, and the location is easy to find. Valet parking is available which is a big plus to me since I really hate parking anywhere. Service was pretty good and so the food. There are variety of choices in their menu that you will enjoy and the prices are pretty decent. Would definitely come back if I ever crave again for Italian food :)

We try to hit all the ""must see"" (or be seen) places, but we find ourselves going back to Arturo's as often as not. The waiters are well trained and know their wines and the wine list is good. Arturo is a master in the kitchen and a pretty good talker if he comes by your table. Everyone is friendly and the place is very attractive without being uncomfortably so. Try the pasta with meat sauce and the snapper special.

I WENT THERE WITH COWORKERS AND ORDERED THE FRUTTI DI MARE. IT WAS VERY DELICIOUS, BUT I WAS STILL STARVING. I WENT HOME AND ATE HALF A PIZZA. IT WAS EXPENSIVE FOR SOMETHING NOT FILLING. I AM A 120 LB WOMAN, NOT A BODY BUILDER. BUT I CAN'T REALLY BLAME THE RESTARAUNT. THAT'S JUST SEAFOOD I GUESS...
