Provided by Citysearch -I do have their sandwiches from time to time, it's good, nothing to rave about. Their breakfast tacos are alright, NOT to die for. But the best thing to get is the Italian Wedding Soup. It's different and made with Chicken and not meatballs. Very creamy with a lot of risotto. It's the absolute BEST soup you will ever try. They only serve it on certain days (Mondays I think) and it goes out FAST. This is the one dish that you MUST try at Alonti's!

Provided by Citysearch -I recently moved to Houston and work downtown. I frequent the Alonti at Reliant Energy Plaza several times a week. Breakfast & Lunch are great! I've tried the soups, the salads, the sandwiches, the pasta & breakfast. I've never had a bad meal. The only problem is that they sometimes run out of the more popular food items, so if you want some of that fabulous Italian Wedding Soup, you'd better get there early!!

Provided by Citysearch -I get a salad at the Alonti in my building every week, or so. Always fresh and good. One day, we were having a meeting that was lasting into the lunch hour and decided to try their delivery. FANTASTIC! Great sandwiches, lots of variety and fast, free delivery. I still get a salad from time to time, but now I'm a daily customer for the sandwiches and a regular delivery customer for my office.

Provided by Citysearch -I get the cobb salad at least three times a week. It's the best lunch downtown. I work in New York too and get the same thing at the Alonti in the Grace building.

Provided by Citysearch -Not a bad place to catch a bite to eat for lunch. Only open during business hours, Alonti Cafe features a variety of lunch foods (sandwiches, pastas, salads, soups) that are full of flavor and reasonably priced. Definitely a must-do for any business person who is not looking to spend a lot on daily lunches.

Provided by Citysearch -While visiting a colleague of mine, downtown, we stopped by Alonti in the Reliant building to get a quick lunch. The lines looked long, but my friend reassured me that it wouldn't take long. He was right! The sandwich makers made my sandwich to order and the check-out was easy and quick (except for those idiots that continue to charge $3).
I loved the even dollar pricing, infact I paid. The only problem was finding a table out in the food court, but persistence and a very nice person allowed us to share one.
My friend tells me that the breakfast tacos are ""to die for.""
I'd love to eat here more often, but I don't get downtown that often. The Alonti by my work isn't the same.

Provided by Citysearch -Love the breakfast tocos and the huge muffins. This place also delivers to the offices in the surrounding area (hint, hint to the bosses).
