My search for a new grooming and boarding place is over! This place is by far the best in town. I've taken Gus several places and he never acted like he wanted to go in. We went here after a referral from the group at the dog park and was very grateful. He walked in and never looked back. His haircut was perfect and he smelled great also. They even sell the perfume they use!! Could only give 5 STARS instead of 10!!
Ohhhh my gosh! I took my poodle on Wednesday & next days he has the worst itch on his face they did his hair cut too close to his skin. If you love your pet DO NOT take them there. I am so upset with them I don't know why they would do that to something so loving. They are horrible.
Very grateful for the wonderful experience both my dog and I had with Dog House Pet Salon! Went to visit some family in Houston over the summer, but unfortunately they did not allow my pup in their house due to a newborn. Dog House was more than welcome to take in Lil' Tony into their establishment with no problem at all. Very respectful and very courteous! Thank you so much!!

we had to choose this place because the hotel where we normally leave the dogs at was sold out due to the holidays. Everything looked fine at the initial approach, decent prices and the place seemed to be clean. The problem was when we picked the dogs up. I have never seen a dog with so much pee on it. Our dogs had pee in their ears, paws, etc. My guess is that the cage was rarely clean up and the dogs had to sleep on their own pee. One of them came back with diarrhea and the other one depressed. It may sound silly but the dog is actually depressed. Don't want to imagine what she went wrong during this stay. Just don't leave your dogs at this place. Very disappointing.

I have to let everyone know what they are missing out on if your not bring your dog here. First of all, I have a Brussel Griffon and a maltipoo. My dogs are my kids and I want them to have only the best and nothing less. So you can only imagine how picky I am when I put them in someone else care. A dogs dream made me very comfortable leaving my babies there. There groomer came out and talked to me about how I wanted there hair cut and I was very impressed when I picked them up. They looked amazing. There groomers are very experienced by far. No one has been able to cut there hair as well as this place did. My dogs were very happy when I picked them up. I think they enjoyed spending the day there. Thank you A dogs dream for doing such a great job, I will differently be back soon and I will differently be boarding my babies with you all when i go out of town.

I have a 4 pound Yorkie that was nervous (first time at this groomer cause we're from out of town) so he started having the runs. Without my Permission the Owner decides to give my Yorkie a full tablet of Imodium AD. I had to take my dog to the vet because he was having an allergic reaction and he ended up being hospitalized over night. Now, the owner is saying that it's not her fault and that she shouldn't have to pay for my dogs vet fees.
All I know is you don't give anyone's animal anything WITHOUT the owners consent Especially working in a pet salon. Good intentions or not. The owner will be responsible for this bill!!!! I feel like, any decent human being would do what's right.

My dog IS my baby! I was looking for a new place to take him for grooming after he came home shaved and shaking from another place. I asked alot of people where they took their dogs and EVERYONE I asked said A Dog's Dream! From the minute we walked in the door I knew he was in good hands! The people there are so friendly and they really know their stuff! Better than that, they really take care of the dogs there! I like that you can see everything thats going on and all the dogs are so happy! His hair used to be to the ground, but the other place shaved him instead of combing out a few nots! I freaked out! I have been taking him to A Dog's Dream every week for his spa treatment for months now and his hair is getting long again and he looks fantastic! He looks like a maltese should! Karen, the owner used to show and breed maltese so she really knows how to take care of his coat! I had to board him recently, which I had never done so I was frantic! I decided to let him stay in one of the suites there. I went over to the kennel to take a tour. I couldn't beleive these were for dogs! The suites at the ""Dream-Inn"", (isn't that cute!) are amazing! Get this, they are each painted with a different theme and even have their own TV's! I picked the log cabin one for him. It looks just like one! It has a real log bed, a stuffed animal deer head and even an antler light fixture! He did not want to leave when I came to get him on Sunday! He was in heaven in his retreat! He came home clean and happy! By the way, another thing I love about this place is it is so clean! You don't even smell dogs! I had been to alot of places before finding A Dog's Dream & Dream-Inn, but I'll never take him anywhere else ever again!
I just have to say that A Dogs's Dream is the best pet salon in Houston. I have used other groomers in the city, and none can compare to this place. I have two yorkshire terriers. One of my babies is a very nervous little guy.. His coat is very silky but mats so easy.. He is very difficult to groom. However, the groomers at A Dog's Dream do such an amazing job with him. He always looks fantastic and always acts like he has had a great time.. The owner is so good with him.. I totally trust her with him... it's so hard for me to leave him but he does so well. I could never take him to a nantional chain, where I'm not allowed to see the grooming area or meet the people who I've intrusted my child with.
In reading one of the reviews on here I have to say...I think the owner who such an issue with what she was charged...didn't listen very well or really doesn't care about the care of their dog.
The owner has always explained extra charges for those times whenmy little guy has extra knotts of hair.. and what to expect. My lttle guy deserves the very best and that's what he gets at a Dogs Dream.
this place is the best facility in town.very clean and you get your moneys worth here.As soon as I walked in with my baby we were approach with a warm welcome.Everyone there is very friendly and knowledgable. After experiencing grooming nightmare after nightmare w/other places in town I kow I have met my dog's pesonal groomer for life. They gave me exactly the image I wanted for my pet.He is so happy and cute with his puppycut.I will definately be going there from now on. I know he is happy there because he did not want to leave he was having so much fun playing with his groomer and the staff when I came to pick him up.My search is over.I would recommend trying this place.VERY NICE!!!

I have been taking my maltese here for four plus years. Malteses are very hard to groom because they have such long hair. When I pick up my Daisy she is always sparkling white, looks all pretty & fluffy & smells wonderful. She is always happy to see me & also is happy when I drop her off. I would recommend this place to anyone who is new to town. If I ever needed to board her or put her in doggy daycare, this is where I would go. Also, the owner are so sweet & take great care of her and treat her as if she were one of their own!

I moved to Conroe 3 years ago and still drive my dog here for grooming. They are very welcoming, professional and the attention to detail with grooming is by far the best! In addition, they are very accommodating to my schedule. I just cannot stress enough how comfortable I feel when I leave my dog and how pleased I am when I pick her up!!!!
I am one of 'those' mothers that treats their dog as their child, and my shih-tzu Lilly is deffinitly my baby. I tried thier boarding this past weekend before I would commit to my Thanksgiving reservation and I was blown away, not only by how wonderful all the staff was to me (I was a nervous wreck) but how well they treated Lilly. The receptionist gave me a tour of the facility, all the day care rooms are upstairs and they were so clean, I never once saw any accidents or smelled any for that matter, each room also had webcams which was really impressing. They showed me where she would be sleeping, and it was spacious and priviate. It was perfect. When I picked up Lilly she was outside playing with all the other small dogs, she was so happy and that made up my mind about Thanksgiving. I HIGHLY recommend them for boarding, and I can't wait to try out their grooming soon also.
I have taken my maltese a few times and the grooming is favorable but prices keep going up and up everytime I go. She is brushed daily so mats or not a big problem. If it wasn't so expensive I would recomend. But they are worth looking into if you have the money. They normaly charge me $20 more then a regular groomer.
we found this boarding kennel online and loved the add. we dicided to boared our beagel / boxer puppy there for 4 days and nights. When we got there to drop her off we were very impressed with how clean it was and how friendly everyone was. Our dog loved it there and was treated with respect and love. They even trimmed her nails for free. We loved the prices and couldnt find a better deal. On the bad note, a day after picking her up she got pink eye. We are assuming that she got it from there. She looked well feed and in good health when we picked her up. she didnt smell and she was very happy to see us.
this place is awesome!!I brought my 3 Jack Russel Terriers in there last week to try their daycare service. They gave me a tour and everything was so clean and did'nt even smell like there were dogs there at all and the kennel was packed. The girl that gave me a tour was very nice and informative. My boys got to play all day with other dogs and I could'nt beleive how tired they were when we left. They passed out in the car.My search is over,I will never go anywhere else.If you love your dogs give this place a try!!

My friend has been telling me about this place for the longest time, so finally I took my two dogs there last friday for a groom for the first time and as soon as I walked into the place I was greeted as if I was a rountine customer. The staff was great espcecially the owner, and my dogs LOVED it. I'm for sure coming back and I would recommended it for all thoses who love their pets.
I have been looking for a good place to take my Sadie to Doggie Day Care while I'm at work, and as soon as I walked through the doors I knew my search was over. There is no place in Houston like the Dog House, they even have webcams so I can watch Sadie through out the day, I LOVE IT!! The staff is so friendly and so good with Sadie, I decided to go ahead and try out the groomers there also, and to say the least she has never looked so beautiful when i picked her up. I have truly found the place where I am confident Sadie is in caring hands when I am at work. FINALLY!!!!!

DO NOT take your pet to this place! My poor dog sustained an injury while being groomed recently. The injury required expensive specialty vet care. They not only failed to report it to me but also failed to return my call after leaving a message notifying them of my discovery. The owner was unprofessional, defensive and argumentative, making all kinds of excuses and showed no empathy for the finding. This man has no business being in the business of caring for family members with such an attitude, lack of concern and inability to deliver customer service.
