I visit this hole in the wall about twice a month. The restaurant is next to a gas station, but don't let that lead you away from it. The place is pumping out huge portions of excellent food six days a week! The restaurant is kind of small, so you have to hurry to guarantee a seat. (Especially during lunch) The restaurant does offer a carryout service for those who can not wait. The carryout portions are just as large and are the same price as the dine-in portions. The only negative is that since it is in a small shopping strip next to a gas station, parking is hard to find. Plain and Simple -- The food is great Portions are huge Expect to wait Horrible Parking Old brown decor Quick, but quiet waiting staff You'll leave stuffed and happy Recommended meal: A large unsweetened tea C-20 (General Chicken) with the House Special Rice and a small wonton soup. Total: $12.55

I was sitting behind a friend of mine in a meeting and noticed she had an amazing haircut. I asked and she told me about Diane at Executive Cuts. I made the appointment without even reading her other reviews because I was so impressed with my friend's haircut. She has very long, thick, curlyish, hair and my hair is long, mostly straight and very fine textured. Diane was very friendly and listened to my concerns and was very agreeable in allowing input from me. She started with a wonderful hot conditioning treatment which was very relaxing and was great for my hair. She was very careful and gave me a haircut that was really better than what I have usually gotten in other salons.. Slightly different than what I would normally ask for and it made me feel happier than I have been in a long while with my hair. I enjoyed the "cozy" quality of her salon and her very easy going attitude. She used excellent products and gave me a sample of shampoo to try at home and the conditioner as well. Very nice experience. Happy to recommend her.
Hi, I'm john and I'm writing this review because of the exceptional customer service I have received from Dre and the razor king crew. These guys are awesome, I mean, from the start they are very approachable and present level of professionalism that will blow your mind. what I mean by this is that they really care about the customer, serving the customers's needs above their own. these guys take great pride in cutting hair and the do it well. unlike other barbershops I've been to these guys don't believe in being on their phones while the cut your hair. they make sure you and your hair at that moment is the most important thing at the time of service in order to maintain a perfect record of professionalism and making sure your hair looks nice. these guys are the barber kings and I would recommend everyone who needs a hair cut to stop by today and experience awesomeness. Thank you Dre and the razor king crew!
This was the second time I had eaten here. The first time it was OK, but too crowded. Today, Sunday at six p.m., I was disappointed. First, the patio in front of the entrance was dirty and littered with trash. I ordered the grilled half chicken. It was OK, but not very hot. The mashed potatoes and the spinach were both stone cold. I orderred the bread pudding desert but could not eat it. If the cook wants to know what bread pudding should be like, he should try it at the IKEA cafeteria. There were only about twelve people there, but I had to go to three tables to find a clean one. I will not be going back and do not recomend this place.
I haven't been impressed with my service. Everybody has been friendly and nice, however it seems like nobody is very well trained. For example, we ordered our crawfish "G Style" and it didn't come out that way, and our server didn't know that it wasn't. However, the management fixed it with no hassle and even comped a beer. My food takes longer than I think it should (I have experience working as a server), but my food has generally been delicious. They also have awesome crawfish for an excellent price.
For any man looking for a quality barbershop experience with an old school feel. This shop offers a full line of services for men from a simple cut to a strait razor shave. Each service offered for around $15 or less and is well worth the time. When looking for the shop, remember that they are located behind a Jiffy lube. I was regretting that i could not find this shop earlier than i did! I had a blast of a time socializing with the staff beyond the service itself. Would recommend them to anyone!
This is an outstanding barbershop. Went right in and got the perfect haircut by my main man Charles. The place is very neat and well kept. To top it off, they are open seven days a week. Like the last poster, I would recommend that you set an appointment ahead of time because these guys do get very busy. If you are looking for the right type of barbershop with barbers whom take their job seriously and are professional to the core, then look no further than this place right here.
We have worked very hard to keep over the last 8yrs to earn our reputation as Voted#1barbershop in Houston by "The Houston Press" I understand you were unpleased with the haircut and would like to make it up to you by personally giving you "KOTC Special Reserve" service.. it consist of a haircut, hot towel shave... I guarantee it will be a 5 star rating service. And of course it will be on the HOUSE.. once again I personally apologize . Best regards, Rick Segura ( owner )
Nice little spot to go and get an old school hair cut. The owner is an old school bato from Magnolia and most of his clients are veteranos as well. He use to have a shop off of Fulton St. on the North Side but moved after the Moody Park Riots when Fiesta and other buildings in that area were damaged. The price is good, only $10.00 vs $15.00 to $18.00 at other traditional old school barbershops. I highly recomend it.
the men there are very sweet and respect others the kid there dose a great job with keeping the shop clean if you every go back ask for i think mike for the lady`s the woman`s side is always open those women work so hard and will now stop until they have done there job right. if i were you i would rush down to edge it up if its only a edge up so you can say good bye to your old barber
