As a native Texan, I've had my fair share of breakfasts at ""hole-in-the-wall"" mexican restaurants. On August 18, 2008, after trying to get OUT of downtown Houston, I stumbled upon Irma's and to my extreme joy, the sign said ""Open""!!!! My best friend and I walked in and were quickly told to…
Went to ruchi's late one Saturday night and had the worst time. The food was awful. Everyone in my family got sick. The service sucked. It took at least 15 minutes before a waiter showed up to the table, and it wasn't even busy. You had to literally go get a waiter when you needed one. I should'…
20. Canyon Cafe
Ive gone to Canyon Cafe a dozen times and have always left 100% satisfied. The service is always wonderful and enjoy the rustic and woodsy environment. I love their food, its spicy, zesty and authentic. Their chips and white chocolate after dinner sticks are things I always look forward to when …

food is good restaurant well
The food was delicious and the service was great, until a roach crawled on our table. The waiter was so kind to kill it, let's say I wasn't hungry anymore. The manager apologized.
This was a nasty restaurant and be manager is rude and did not care that the kitchen was producing cold and under cooked food. When I asked for my money back he refused. I would NOT recommend eating here
Restaurant looks nice from outside, but the service sucks! The manager was unwilling to help me and my overall experience was incredibly lousy.
My favorite is the flautas. The were crunchy on the outside and tender, juicy and tasty on the inside. The staff was wonderful and professional on a Saturday night. Great place for families, couples or friends
Juan the manager was very helpful with menu choices. The best margaritas and the best selection of margaritas in North Houston. i would recommend the fajitas and any seafood dishes. Try the jalapeno margarita..oh boy!
The food is incredible - simple authentic Cuban choices with very healthy portions. The plantains are to die for and the Cuban coffee is as sweet and rich as it gets.
I visited 3/13/18 before noon. I ordered the Texas mini and hushpuppies(they burned them). The food was not bad, kinda bland. The guy that took my order was very nice gave me plenty of condiments. I didn't like that the food handlers did not wear gloves. The atmosphere was ok, kinda small, hard to move around.
