If you can at all avoid it dont use these phones. DIrty, lack of maintenance and a total rip off. So, ok now a days people dont use payphones mostly because we all have cellphones. But if the battery dies or you forget it and need to make a call you look for the old standby payphones. Extra Effort payphones are filthy, and not maintained. I went to one near downtown and the payphone would not take my money but it had a dial tone. The only way to make a 50 cent call was to make it collect and have the callee pay nearly 10 times the 50 cent amount. What a RIP OFF!!!! .
I ordered Directv and Integral Development Solutions is contracted for the installs. I scheduled the installation for noon-4p.m. I did this because I work the overnight shift and have school at 5:30. The Technician calls me at 7:00 a.m. I was an hour into my slumber and didn't answer. I return the call at noon after I woke up and he wanted to make sure was going to be home and stated it would be closer to 4. I told him that was not a problem and informed him that I had a class at 5:30. The Installer didn't show up until 6:30 p.m.!!!I I called Directtv multiple times and spoke with him a couple. He informed me that he was late because the woman's' daughter whose house he was at fell and broke her arm but will be done in twenty minutes. An Hour goes by and he still didn't arrive so I called Directv back. They gave me a fifty dollar credit and apologized and ensured me that a formal complaint will be filed. He calls me back and then blames Directv for him being late by scheduling him two jobs right before me thirty minutes away. I am a premed student and ended up missing a class. This guy Jeff, took no responsibility and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. If he worked for me and I was the contractor for a big corporation like Directtv I would have fired him for jeopardizing the business relationship and potential business he would've cost my company. Not to mention blaming the company that pays his salary for him not using timemanagement and/or communicating with the customer.
