I used to come here back in the day a few years back and it was the place to hang out. The waitresses were talkative and open. The food was cheaper and fries used to be free! Ive gone here a couple times the last few months and I was disappointed;the girls are a bit too young, many of them dont c…

Always smells like a men's soccer team. Walk in the door and get a whiff of landscapers and roofers. The homeless guy living in the ditch behind IHOP may greet you. Food is better than the HoOters in Seabrook, and they honor their beer specials and kids' menu. The girls are busy, friendly, and k…

Casual family atmosphere, nice restaurant, friendly service, good seafood... what more can you say. This restaurant is a great place for families and friends who enjoy seafood. The biscuits are served fluffy and hot. Don't bypass their appetizers, particularly the Ultimate Fondue or the Lobst…

Sooo being my first time at hooters, I was pretty excited..But after that, I would tell u to save ur money. The service was average, at best. She was not very friendly, and the food was cold and wings sucked, for being a ring place! Just a heads up, maybe try another location or establishment!

Don't order the crispy chicken. For the last 2 years, they scissor cut and cook the meat with the cartilaginous gristle. The girls are getting more tattooed and less interested in serving. The Hooters on I45 South is the place to go. Remember Kids Eat Free Tuesdays? That's gone; does your kid l…

From the service, to the kitchen, to the inattentive management staff, this place was horrendous. Prepare yourself for the worst if attending this location. They wouldn't throw french fries at you if you were staving.

I've been a fan of Frenchy's chicken for sometime now and they still have that delicious recipe flavor. Their chicken is better than other fast food chicken restaurant, yes it's pricey, but I love the taste.

This has become my favorite burger joint in Houston and I haven't even tried the milkshake yet. Get the Bellaire special, a double meat, cheese and bacon burger that is not legal in at least 3 states. Be sure to have them cut it in half so it comes on a plate and you can catch all the goodness…

From Business: Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. I am in agreement with other reviewers on several recurring issues including the service which can be slow, and the high prices for small portions of food prepared competently yet without real inspiration. The menu itself is also somewhat limited in choices, particulalry for dinner. Executive Chef Ryan Pera is the inspiration behind the kitchen of The Grove. One of the best times to visit the restaurant is during its famed Sunday Brunch. It is when the natural lighting is at its best and is perfect for a front seat to the weekend festivities downtown. The restaurant offers a variety of creative spirits that set the mood for an urban relaxed lunch. One of the only places in Houston to offer a Clear Spicy Bloody Mary, The Grove has recently added a Banana Margarita to its drink list, which includes herradura silver tequila and coconut crunch, accentuating a fruity kick to brunch. A word of advice –be sure to use the restaurant’s convenient and fast valet parking services when downtown is busy. Parking in and around the park can often be hard, if not impossible, to find, depending on the festivities going on at the time.
My friends talked it up. Saying, it was a wonderful spot and they couldn't beleive I hadn't been there (being a native Houstonian) so I decided to go. My take on it was that I was unimpressed by the drab uninviting exterior & interior, the smell of grease permeating the air, the leaning undersized tables that were cluttered with condiments, and the perfectly square dining room that held it's diners shoulder to shoulder. The place felt like it needed a good cleaning to me. Almost everyone in the place was overweight (including myself) which directly correlates to the type of food they serve. Remember when your grandmother use to fill the bottom of her cast iron skillet with oil to make eggs? Yeah...that's what ALL of the food is like. It tasted just fine though. The service was fine and the people were freindly (patrons and staff) but I won't be back. I give it 4 stars because the place was PACKED. We had to wait in line to be seated at 9am. During our meal it began to rain hard but people kept coming! It may not be my kind of place but apparently, it is for lots of others!
I tried Beck's Prime for the first time a couple of weeks ago, since my boyfriend had raved on and on about how he used to get their steak burger and milkshake everyday before work. First of all, their milkshake was uber good! It's a real milkshake and not the premixed junk that comes out of a softserve machine. My boyfriend said I must have really liked it since drinking it was probably the longest I'd been quiet all day. I also got their prime steak burger and fries, and to be really honest, I wasn't very impressed. Well, at least not for the money that I paid for the entire meal. The burger was about $8.50, and with the fries and shake, I think I paid about $15. That's pretty darn steep for fast food. The steak juices had soaked the entire bottom burger bun so badly that I had to throw out the bottom bun. It was completely soggy and tasted gross. I loved that the fries were real cut fries, but they were completely limp and soft. I prefer crispy fries. I really wanted to love this place as much as my boyfriend so maybe I'll give it one more try.

All American Auto Salvage has awesome customer service and reasonable prices. Victor is great, very fair, and helpful. I was looking for rear differential assembly for my Chevy Trailblazer. They originally sent over one for a heavier truck but took it back and I was able to go on the yard to find the one that did match my truck. It is best to go out to find the part yourself. Unfortunately a lot of glove boxes are missing and that is where you'll find the part match information that you need. Tony went out in heavy rain without complaint to help us look through the yard to distinguish what truck the one came off of that they delivered and to find the one that actually matched. My truck is back together and running like brand new! The part we got from them was great. I would gladly go back to them and refer anyone to them. Great service in any industry seems to be lacking so I am always glad to have a positive experience. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work! Janice & Robert
first off i wanna say i love this place! i mostly been here for lunch which is great, foods fast and sum really great lunch options. i absolutly loved the southwest wrap and it came with thier famous shoestring mixture yum! but i do have to say my favorite time going there is sunday brunch. the place is always so lively and happening. and the waiter told me that on thier 2nd and 4th sundays they have live jazz band come play. though they dont have bottomless mimosas anymore(something to do with T.A.B.C. not allowing it at resturants anymore) but they did have $2mimosas and $4 mango mimosas(extra delicous!) also $2well vodka drinks too!!! i would suggest reservations if your going to bring a large party with you though, they fill up quite fast. the servious was also really good my mimosa was always full and he kept making sure i had everything i needed, overly a very great expiernce.
I think this is probably a chain, or at least it feels like it. Regardless, the food was pretty good and the service was excellent. I went there after work with a group of 10 and we had one waitress who took very good care of us. She actually did such a good job that we each tipped her above the 18% gratuity. The food wasn't fabulous, but still pretty good. We ordered the lettuce wraps and stuffed onion rings for apps. The waitress sold most of the guys on a ribeye special, but I had the Americana Chopped Salad. The salad was very delicious but it was a little skimpy on the meat for a $10 salad. According to each of the guys, the ribeye was phenomenal. I would go back there if invited, but probably not on my own.
The menu at Lucio’s concentrates on seasonal and fresh local ingredients. The menu changes often at Lucio’s, but many of the high-quality ingredients (extra-virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, fresh herbs and seasonal vegetables, etc.) are constant. Lucio’s continues to be one of our favorite dining spots in Houston. Ask for Robert or Steven for consistently fantastic service. I've recommended Lucio's to friend's looking to try something new, or those seeking an intimate venue to host a birthday dinner or special date. I always look forward to returning to sample Executive Chef Rick Guerrero and Sous-Chef Brett Maesch’s latest seasonal menu.
My Family love's Itz, it is one of our favorite places in Houston. Last month we went on a Monday and there was hardly anybody there (we practically had the whole place to our selves) and that was really really fun most of the times we go on weekends and it is crowded but the place is so huge that you are not uncomfortable. The food is buffet and I think way better than most buffet places they have several options to choose from if you don't like pizza and c'mon they have ICEES included in the buffet that should be reason enough to go specially in Houston HOTTT weather...LOL...Hope your family has a great time as we do evertime we go.
The Grove got mixed reviews for service in the beginning and they have fixed it all. They sent us a reminder email and call. We walked right in with no wait or attitude, our waiter was very attentive and my dessert had Happy Birthday on it. Drinks were served quick and the food as always is exciting and delicious. I think the reviews and the raving about the restaurant as a hot spot hurt the staff in the beginning because they were overwhelmed and so new. Now they seem like a well oiled machine. Love the atmosphere and the walk around Discovery Green after dinner. Thanks for a great night, Joy
