WE ALMOST LOST OUR FUR BABY JEWEL!!! The intake technician that wears sunglasses inside told us-We do this several times a day, they will be fine. We recommend getting an E-collar for your male. I asked-What about Jewel, does she need one? Tech-No ma’am only males, they usually reach their incision sites &causes infection. Females can’t reach their incisions. Almost a week after her surgery was terrifying since we were told she didn't need an E-collar! Jewel's incision busted &her entire intestinal tract hung from her body! She was strong &fought while we rushed her to the ER. The lead vet said she chewed off a piece of her small intestines thinking she was giving birth! They said this could’ve been prevented. Would’ve LOOKED horrible but wouldn’t have been anywhere near as bad with the collar! The Vets informed us any sex, any surgery, they ALWAYS require an E-collar. I contacted BARC-Board member Ms. Amneris Diaz. She knew which tech said it, hopes our dog is still alive &that we did whatever it took to save her. OF COURSE, but we don’t have funds like this! CareCredit gave an increase -cost climbed over $5,000. Diaz kept stating she was sorry but can't pay since we didn’t bring her back to BARC..REALLY!? You accept fault, but we didn’t risk her life, so you can’t pay? Diaz-Unfortunately our funds are only for the animals here. If we had to pay for every complaint or animals getting sick post treatment, we’d have to set aside millions & chuckled. There’s no way we could do that! I'm glad to hear that CareCredit worked out but our funds are needed here, especially since we do hundreds of these surgeries in a day.” Lost for words – this made me feel like many others have complained &received no luck. What about others? What if they didn’t make it? Should they really be doing mass surgeries like this!? HOW DARE THESE PEOPLE TRY TO EDUCATE OTHERS. Be aware/help spread the word that this is NOT acceptable! Absolutely NO ONE should have to go through this horror!
Wonderful people , great service. Really know what they're doing and explain it to the customer so they understand too! Would recommend to everyone
While I was happy to know that the Houston SPCA would accept 9 pups that someone dumped on us, I was disappointed to find out that if they determined there was any pitt bull at all in them they would be humanely euthanized. Since I didn't have any idea what kind they were, I was relunctant to bring them. They also said any pup under 5 lbs would be euthanized also. It seemed like the more questions I asked, the more negatively I thought of them. Ultimately, I found homes for the puppies myself.
Well my experience is limited almost to nothing. I am trying to locate an IRS office that serves Humble, Texas. You are about the closest office. I will keep plugging!
This is not the number to call for help. Call 713-209-3660 in Houston or if elsewhere call 877-777-47788 for Taxpayer Assistance Office (TAO). TAO is the most helpful office I've ever seen. They are exceptionally well trained, helpful, caring and have or can direct you to all the answers you need.
I hate to write any negative reviews about any public service organization, because I have always believed that public services organization should be for the people they serves. My experience with Adult Protective Services has been nothing but very disappointing. Here is my experience with turn out to be a disaster for my mother. I first contacted APS in Harris County about 2 years ago. I was concern about my mother's being taken from her home in Pine Bluff, AR. were she has lived all of adult life. She and my father raised eight children in this town. She worked at the local hospital for 36 years before retiring. After her retirement she came to work at my Adult Day care center, where she really enjoyed until she was diagnosis with dementia, later she became a client at the center. She was doing well, had accept her illness. After she became ill to the point where she couldn't live along, my brother moved in to her home. He and I took turn weekly taking care of my mother. Everything was going well until her youngest daughter Karin Lowery (she in the system CPS in Houston) came to visit and wouldn't leave. All kinds of problems occured. One sister came Arkansas and took my mother to Texas stating that she would bring her back in two weeks. She never bought her back. I call APS because a brother told me that she is always asking to come home and that she was in the bed most of the time. I have called APS many time since then. They never call me back. My brothers (all five ) have tried to talk to this sister to return our mother to her home.We have made trips to Houston, called the police and law officer involved without success. Today, my mother is in Kindred Hospital , She was admitted to Houston Southwest with stage 4 decubitis sores on both hips, buttock and her feet. My mother can no longer walk , has loss atleast 30 pounds. I call APS while in Houston, they never showed up.My mother has been neglected, but nothing has been done.No justice for my mother.
this is the worse service I have in 36 years living in unite state they abuse the customer not really customers prisoners we have no choice of another service so they take avantage of the customer by imposing any kind of penalty for being late on tap that they have a deposit they still cut you off and ask you for more money charge $34 for a declined credit card, $35 for door tag, and if is more than a week, after they shut your water you don't pay for a week thay can take your water meter so can charge you to put it back $100 this is insane I wonder what can I do to defend my self and others this is not right. And on top of that this is the worse water taste bad is really hard water
I cannot say enough good things about Judge Patronella. I was getting gauged by a slumlord in deductions. The judge took a 45 minute recess to his chambers to read what I spent upwards of 100 hours on. My landlord and his lawyer then left with their tails between their legs. As Judge Patronella threw out most of the deductions. It was a thing a beauty. I didnt care I only netted 200 bucks... it was about justice. I think he understood thats all I wanted.I had a lawyer suggest to file at his court because he actually listens to tenants speak. If you ever have a landlord tenant issue. File with Judge Patronella, because he makes sure, he gets the facts before making a decision.
THE MEN AND WOMEN AT THE HOPE CENTER OR A BLESSING TO THIS COMMUNITY.I WAMT TO THANK YOU ALL,"KEEP THE FAITH"!!!
