Month to month is a problem with the kid club membership I don't know who update the information about it but is dreadful
Car got broken into and they don't care. Officer said break'ins happen often. Even though there is a security guard and a parking lot attendant somehow no one saw my window getting smashed in. I had dark tinted windows and you could tell it took a few swings the way the glass was laying. Customer service totally sucks, it took 3 months after several daily attempts for a customer service rep to call me back. This company has no regard for members or even simply "doing the right thing."
I was a dedicated member for 2 years and today my membership was terminated and I was a victim of sexual harassment by Jose Alveldano, yesterday I was on my way to the gym and I noticed a red camero following me, I exited the freeway and immediately entered again and the car did the same, the car followed me all the way to the gym on bissonnet and I noticed it was Jose Alveldano following me the entire time smh, I complain to the general manager (Sina Khal Khals) and he brushed me off, today I was told that my membership has been cancelled and I was the victim in the situation smh Jose Alveldano was harassing me and stalking me but my membership was cancelled smh, extremely bad customer service smh
I repeat! Do not join fitness connection!!!! It is going to be my mission from today to let people know how scam is fitness connection!!!! I cancelled my membership as i am moving away and they need proof of me moving away..... Like really??? Proof? Why do i jave to proof for you that i am moving away? If i want to cancel my membership then that's my freaking decision!!!!!!!!!!!!! And worse of all is they have mu bank account so it is easy for them to take money out of my pocket!!!! This is one thing I regret joining in my entire life!!! You suck!!!
No zero star, that's why I am giving 1 star. This review is about Bissonet Houston. The manager at Bissonet location is very unprofessional. I think gym management recruited a college out guy as a manager, he doesn't have any experience in customer management. Management is very rude, they will try to come up with lots of reasons instead of giving help to customers. First they should recruit the right persons at front desk/manager position. They advertise $9.95 per month, it's kind of scam. Once you go to gym to join, they say different figure. I won't recommend this gym to any body. Don't be fool about monthly fee $9.95, on top of that more hidden changes.Again, you consider this for 0 or -1 rating
Love this place the trainers instructors and atmosphere is awesome lots equipment,is just so packed in the evening
I had the worst experience there. I went to fitness conection with the intent of joining their gym. At first, a young man gave me a tour. He was nice, polite and I enjoyed the tour. However, I was really confused at the fact that the showers were not private in the women's area. Anyway, he asked me if I had my ID on me to sign up, and I nicely explained to him that I wasn't looking into joining immediately, as I needed some time to think about it. He then called his manager, who was extremely rude to me, aggressive, and trying so hard to push me to sign the contract. He said, I quote, "If you are ready to pay more at another gym, just because they have a swimming pool, then you must be crazy". I litteraly wanted to tell him that HE WAS the crazy one, if he thought it was acceptable to address a potential client in that fashion. I try my best to stay calm and I told the other representative that I was not used to that type of attitude and the manager stood up, made an attempt to "apologize" with no sincerity, presented me his hand, that I shook only because I have manners, and he left. So did I. I was actually going to sign up with them, but thanks to him, I will never go to that gym. I strongly advise anyone who is looking for a gym NOT to join FITNESS CONNECTION. I'd rather pay a little more and have a better service.
They claim to be super cheap, but they have you sign for random fees. They over charged by card, and when I called corporate, a rude woman kept giving attitude about me "trying to get out of paying." They are extremely rude and awful. They tried to make me pay fees of the following month even after I cancelled. Save your money and time. Beware.
Not a stable fitness clubI doubt that Fitness Connection will stay in business for much longer. They heavily rely on people paying for the membership but not using it to alleviate the costs for the people who actually use it. I'm pretty sure their members/active member ratio is ridiculous and they are making money on a lot of people simply because they don't mind paying the $10 a month just because it's cheap or they simply don't know how to cancel it. It's the information era for crying out loud, people should be able to cancel their membership on site or through a website instead of having to send corporate a letter that they want to cancel(most people don't know this). I asked one of the workers why they don't switch to using a fingerprint scanner instead of using their outdated keycards and he simply replied "fingerprint scanning technology is too expensive and we make a pretty good amount of money on the people who lose their keycards" i decided to cancel my membership based on that alone. I just didn't like the feeling of knowing that they are aware of the damage they are doing to people's wallets. It is only $10 dollars to replace your keycard but i'm pretty sure that money adds up with their multiple locations and thousands of members. Also a fingerprint scanner is dirt cheap and fitness connection won't have to worry about multiple people using the same membership(which is something they also make money on by charging people a fee for letting other people use their membership.)quick story.....my friend tried to sneak his little brother in by letting him use his membership and he got caught so Fitness Connection gave him 2 options. He could either pay the fee which was about $80 or he could sign his brother up with a down payment of $35(at the time) and pay $10 a month with a $25 a year equipment maintenance fee. I mean how scammy is that lol. they could easily avoid this situation by using fingerprint scanner. One finger print to one person so there is no way non-members can sneak someone in. Overall only sign up if you're seriously going to visit the gym regularly and are aware of any fees and the cancellation process.
