The best in Houston by Angela. Made the delivery for my school party and we are going to re-order again. Salute to Mrs.T the Spice tea cake was made with love. Great butter taste and reminds me of my grandmothers baking.

A co-worker and I went in there because she knew a location in another state and raved about it. Upon entering we found the place to be completely empty. It was about 11am and the chairs were sitting on the tables. There was an oriental guy watching a small tv in the corner. There were no pa…

La Madeleine is fine for what it is. A decent, inexpensive, casual place with decent food that's fast and convenient. If you go with those expectations, it's a fine place. If you're expecting something that's better than average, you'll probably be disappointed. I'd say it's about the same as Ca…

This caffe has been one of the places that I kept visiting over the years. It used to be great place to go for tiramisu or some other pastries, right now their prices have become increasingly scary (close to $3 for eclaire?) and the quality of pastries has gone down considerable. I only go for …

I love this place they by far have the best salads. I always would order the spinach strawberry grilled chicken salad. They no longer serve that but they have others similar to it. Their fruit is always fresh fuit and the dipping sauce is so good.

Hello pilates. Don't try to go here and pass up the dessert option on the lunch menu. I feel I need to repeat this: ALWAYS ORDER DESSERT. It's the simple things in life: house salad, tomato basil soup and dessert. I think I've been here 12ish times [sounds like a good number] and I always say I…

Service sucks but the food is good. The staff are poorly trained and pay more attention to the food than the customer. Instead of cafeteria style like all the others this location has you order with the cashier and you get a beeper. They bring the food to you.

The spinach salad was crisp and delicious and the shrimp, spinach and pesto crepe was to die for. The portions were so large I could not eat it all so I ate only the salad and the crepe itself, took the sauce home and served it over vermecilli pasta. It was the best meal I had in a few weeks. …
So around 8:30am I contacted This Little Cake of Mine to make 12 cupcakes for my sons 2nd birthday party which was the same day 3:30pm. The owner told me that they were normally closed on Sundays but she had a custom order that day and since she would be already be working she would go ahead and make the cupcakes for me. Elated, we agreed on that I could pick up the cupcakes at 3:00pm. However, at 2:51pm (9 minutes prior to the time they were supposed to be ready) the owner called and said they wouldn't be ready at 3 but between 3:30pm and 4:00pm. She asked me if I still wanted the cupcakes and I told her I would talk to my husband about it and text her. Because we had no other options since it was too late to find someone else to make the cupcakes we decided we would wait for them. So I sent her a text stating we still wanted them and she responded stating that they would definitely be ready by 4.At 3:35pm my husband pulled up to the bakery and he told me as soon as he did someone inside turned off all the lights. He knocked on the door and he saw the person hiding inside. We both called and there was no answer so I sent a text message stating that my husband was outside waiting and I got no response. I told my husband to wait until 4 and we would call again if no one came to the door. At 4 there was still no change in the situation so I called and a guy answered the phone. I asked to speak to Erica, the owner, and he said that he would try to get in contact with her for me and call me back. At 4:26 I still hadn't received a call back so I called the number again. Still no answer, so I called right back and the guy picked up and asked me if my husband was still waiting at the shop (this let me know that he had read my text and decided not to respond) I told him yes and he said he would be pulling up to the shop in 3 minutes and he would call me to let me know what was going on. I received a call back 10 minutes later stating that he pulled around back (probably to avoid my husband) and that he would have the cupcakes out in 5 minutes. At 4:51pm, almost 2 hours after the original pickup time, I told my husband to leave and to just get some from Kroger on his way home. As a courtesy I sent the following text message: "Erica, my husband has been there since 3:35 waiting for the cupcakes. The party started at 3:30 so he's already missed almost an hour and a half of the party waiting in front of the shop. He can not wait any longer. I will have him grab some cupcakes on his way home from Kroger."They responded asking if my husband had left and once I told them yes, I received this response: "So sorry about any inconvenience. She did not know it was your husband peeping through the door and it completely freaked her out having him peeping through the window so she turned the the light off and hid in the back. Once again I apologize, she wasn't expecting you guys until 4 and it completely scared her when he started beating at the door, being she was here alone."This is obviously not true because my husband said she turned off the lights as soon as he pulled up. He also said that he never banged on the door but rather knocked. But even if he did bang, why be afraid if the lights are off and you are fully aware that a customer is coming to pick up an order and is there between the time you told them to be there? I understand that the order was last minute but if she couldn't make the cupcakes why take the order? Be though as it may, the party was still a success even though my husband missed most of it waiting in front of a bakery. As a first time customer, trying to support a local small business, I will NEVER again try this company and tell everyone I know not to as well.
I have been searching around for bakers to make a custom cake and I came upon This little Cake of mine. I sent an email of the cake I wanted on February 11th 2018 at 9:30pm. I didn’t receive a response, so I called February 12th 2018 around 6:15pm. I don’t know who I was speaking with because she answered the phone and said hello. I was explaining to her about the email that sent and she stated “ I have not checked my email, I will have to check it and see”. She stated she was walking into something this thing and can I text her my information and the cake and she will get back with me. Well, as of today it has been 2 weeks and I still have yet to hear from her. You knew you were not going to call, so why not just say that and be honest with yourself and the customers. You could’ve said call me the next day the day after.
I have done my cakes there for several ocasiones very nice lady she tries to do the best she can to satisfy her customers and the cake is nice and moist too good prices
Beautiful, wonderful, and tasty cakes! You should give them a try for any celebration that you could possibly have!
I always have breakfast a tuttopane. And I have to say that they have the Best Coffee, I love the cheese empanadas and pastelitos. If you visit tuttopane try the sweet bread is fresh and delicious. Best venezuelan food in houston!
Went once and been going back ever since. It's on my cardio route which means I have to walk extra miles
Very rude people. They sold us a cake that had hairs in it and when we tried to confront them on it they refused to give us our money back. We didn't even get to hand out any cake. We spent 250 on that cake. We took them the whole cake back and she had said that things like that happen! It shouldn't "just happen" when you spend so much money on a cake! She told us she would rather lose costumers that lose those 250 dollars!
My husband ordered cappuccino with half sugar kind a strong to me so I ask for a little milk it came out perfect. I ordered mango tea, its so good. My daughter ordered almond croissant. wow it is so good and fresh.
I love the taste of their cupcakes. They are always fluffy as opposed to Sprinkles which I found to be dry and hard after multiple visits. The flavors are very unique and keep me coming back for more.
