With regards to ducati97 and jackpeno's reviews, I would like to respond but I do not even know who they are. They do not even show up as customers in our computer system. It is very hard to respond if you don't know who or what you are dealing with. It is difficult to deal with individuals who hide behind the internet.
The shop was clean when I visited. I waited two minutes to be helped when I arrived. They understood what the issue was I was having and offered two options for me. I took the more drastic and expensive of the options. The guys seem to know what they are doing here.
I've been going to Smiths Automotive for along time. He has the best prices, honest and really takes care of you. He's taken me to work while he worked on my car several times. I highly recommend this place
I had a good experience here. Actually, these guys take a lot of time to get to know what the issue is you're having and put a lot of research into the issue before they get started. And I have to respect that. I didn't have any issues and have an operational vehicle now.

I took my vehicle in for a transmission overhaul which was supposed to be a 2 to 3 day job and turned in to a week so when I went to pick it up I barely made it half way home and my transmission started acting up so I notified the owner and he told me to bring it back the next day so I did and this time he kept it for about two weeks so when I went to pick it up this time not only was my transmission not working right but I had damage to my rocker panel moldings and my air filter box and he wasn't there so I called him to notify him of the damage and he tells me to bring estimates to him Friday when he comes back to work so I do and he tells me he will call me Monday to let me know when to bring my car in to get fixed because he was not paying what the estimates were cause they were to much so I wait for his call and half the day goes by and I don't hear from him so I decide to call him and he tells me he's waiting for his buddy that has a shop to call him to give me a time to bring the car so I wait the rest of the day and I never get a call so I end up taking him to small claims court to make a long story short he finally got my transmission working right but did not fix any of the damage to the vehicle his shop caused don't know if he knew the judge or not but it seemed like the judge didn't care about the damage they did to my car and now it's on me to fix something they did so please stay away from this place it's a very bad business and they are very unprofessional and really don't know what there doing and I did report him to BBB and I suggest everyone do the same that had this type of experience with these people!!!!!
Had my 2004 explorer rebuilt here a year ago has more Power and runs smoother than it ever has .....Getting ready to have my second 2nd engine rebuilt rebuilt there now......Also sending a few friends and family members taking their vehicles their to have them rebuilt just seeing how well mine is running.

Very happy with my experience at AEE getting my 3.5l ecoboost f150 engine rebuilt. Steve did his absolute best to be upfront and save me money. He kept me updated and honest with what actually needed to be done. Best of all he did it in half the time and half the price the dealer was offering. An expert and professional. I would highly recommend.
This place beyond horrible I took my cts here for a new motor and it was done in 3 days now remind you that my car was running everything work I got my car back the back brake lights was not working and the car was smoking so my husband call Leo the owner said we have to drive it for a few weeks to burn off the old oil ok we did that but it was getting really bad with the smoke so it was about 2 weeks before the warranty was up so we call him and he was on vacation so a week now to the warranty was up we called as some one else and he pick up so we told him about what was going on and my husband told him he did not change the motor it's the same motor the put block seal in the motor and we paid $1900 for a new one so he said no we change the motor they didn't cause the motor that was in the car had button missing on it was the same one so we take it back to him and he said he was sorry he thought his worker change it but he now that cause he never bought one so 3 months past bye and he call saying he put a new motor and put it in but the car want start but it was working when we took it to him cause we drive it there we got a starter a sensor nothing work he didn't want to give me not even half of my money back this place is a rip off I wish I could give them a f....k you not one star
Back in August 2016, I had my 2012 Kia Sedona EX towed to this shop for a complete engine rebuild. I was quoted a price of $2000 over the phone by the shop owner himself. I was required to pay a $950 deposit the day his tow truck came to pick up my van. He rebuilt that engine throughout the entire month of August, & I picked it up after paying $2705 in cash when it was ready. The grand total after a month's worth of work was $5500 - nearly 3 times the quoted price! However, about 6-7 hours after I picked up the van that same day, it stopped running while I was @ work. I sent the shop an email through their website the very next day since they're closed on the weekends. 3 days later, his truck towed my van back to his shop so he can honor the warranty (3 years or 40,000 miles). Once my van returned to his shop, that's when even more issues became clearly evident. The phone rings off the hook whenever I call him regardless of what time of day it is because it hardly ever gets answered. When I'd pay a surprise visit to the shop for a progress check, the owner isn't present because he's out getting parts for other vehicles the shop is working on (@ least that's what's being mentioned by the other employees). My van was always in the parking lot & never in the garage. I was forced to wait an additional 3 months after it was towed back to his shop in the beginning of September! Once I found his reviews on Google & web sites other than those advertised on the shop's web site, enough was enough! The shop's profile with Houston's Better Business Bureau was the ultimate deal breaker. They were given a rating of F because there are 10 complaints filed against this shop that have been unresolved! The lone review on the shop's BBB profile is from a customer who is currently waiting for his vehicle to be fixed after a year with no results! After seeing that post, I had no choice but to have AAA tow it to another shop so I can get back to work! I'd never recommend this shop to anyone for any reason under any circumstances!
Steve and his team did a great job on my F-150. They were honest about the parts that needed to be replaced and the engine was purring like a kitten. Thank you job well done!
DO NOT GIVEthese people your business.It was the worst experience with a mechanic I have ever had. I paid them $1200 for a new transmission and labor when I picked up my car it didn't even make it down the street before it started doing the same thing it had done before I took it there.Then had the nerve to ask for another $200 to handle the issue.DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY ARE LIARS AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
