In February of 2012 I put a deposit down on what I felt was the best reception hall I'm Houston for my daughter's 15th birthday. What I ended up with 17 months later was an experience that fulfilled all my hopes and more. Let me start by saying when I first visited the hall I thought, for sure I can find cheaper than this but just as nice. My hunt ended after a handful of places that offered a lower price for a much lower standard. Too small, not enough parking, dingy, bad area, too big, near a strip club lol. These were the challenges I faced. I decided on La Fontaine because they followed up with me, they had a service promise no one could beat, and Elva sprayed the place down religiously with Febreeze and I almost wanted to eat the place it smelled so yummy! Esteban took so much time with me. He explained everything, he made the connection as not only a customer, but a real human being. He told me about his family and how he understood my hesitations. He was patient and it paid off...literally. The couple of days before my daughter's quince, the hall was not booked. The team had my decor and table settings in place by Thursday which gave me plenty of time to come in, set everything up, and finalize any last minute details. I was relieved. The day of our event, I was stressed from head to toe, but immediately Aida jumped right in to my aide. She helped me, my partner, my daughter and my vendors the whole night. Anything we needed she got it for us, anything scheduled, she kept us on track. The waitstaff was amazing, the food delish. The cake was exquisite, and all came from vendors recommended by La Fontaine. I barely had to lift a finger! I received so many compliments on our event from all my friends and family. It was truly successful. After the event was over, the service didn't stop there. The waitstaff offered helping me load my car, retrieved any unused decor, packaged my leftover food and cake. They were truly the most helpful I've ever seen. I can't wait to get the pictures and video from Houston Studio Pro-the photographer recommended by La Fontaine. Throughout our whole process, Teresa with HSP captured the most precious moments for us. She was so sweet and professional. The words I leave cannot even begin to explain the sense of joy I feel about the services I received. Elva and her team at La Fontaine delivered the night to me and my family on a silver platter. It was perfect and I look forward to working with them again for our next event.

This place is beautiful and the owner is very, very helpful. I'm sure that many could attest to this. The customer service staff there will accommodate all the needs that you may have. I attended the wedding of the above young lady, and I believe that her wedding was as much of a success as it was, due to the owner of the venue. The young lady was not at all prepared to get married or shall I say, have a wedding. Her budget was not in accordance with the venue nor with the additional services that she requested from the venue. If you ask me, she got a deal! Two hours to set up before an event is more than enough time "IF" you're at all prepared. What do you think you should have? All day? Those who've been exposed to such would know that the standard set up and break down time for any event facility is 2 hours before and 1 hour after. But you can't help everyone. It's sad that this young lady would attempt to bad mouth such a nice venue and it's staff for doing nothing but helping her.
Excelente Servicio y el Salon quedo de maravilla el dia del evento. Mi familia y Yo, pero en especial mi hija que celebro sus XV Años, quedamos muy satisfechos por el servicio que la dueña, la Sra Maria y su Staff, nos brindaron desde el dia del open house hasta el dia que se nos entrego el ultimo servicio del paquete, que fueron el Video y Fotos de los cuales nos encanto la alta calidad y la atencion al detalle, que hasta hoy dia no paramos de revivir ese dia al ver el video y fotos. Gracias al joven Carlos Diaz y su Staff por la excelente produccion del Video y Fotos. El DJ muy professional en la presentacion y seleccion de musica. La comida estuvo deliciosa y el pastel tan exquisito y muy acorde a la decoracion. Gracias a Los Candiles Reception Hall ese dia siempre sera especial. No lo pensaria dos veces al recomendarlos. First I want to thank Ann and her husband Alex, they owners at Ayva Center...for everything and their kindness! This place is excellent and great for events. They were both understanding and kind at all times. They didn't try to drain you out of your money either. I had my wedding reception here in April of this year and when I walked into the room I was speechless. My husband and I were very please with the way ever thing looked. We were also very pleased with all the great service (beginning to end). Waiters and bartenders were very friendly. The food was great! I didn't hear any complains from our guest. This place is a must see and try out. Excellent place, excellent service and excellent food. Also, the price is very reasonable!
I have no complaints/ no problems with my services with Ayva Center. My wedding reception went as planned. I was so nerves at first but I shouldn't have been because everything promised was delieverd. The decore was amazing, my guest couldn't stop talking about it. The food was delicious. What really impressed me the most was how professional the staffs were and how everything that ayva center promised was exactly was delieverd...as if they had rehurst their lines or some sort. Overall, I will recommand this venue to anyone who wants to have a wedding reception or ceremonies.
Its a beautiful place nothing to compare to other Venues. When I saw the reviews it scared me a bit. It turn out to be a great place after all and would truly recommend this place. My wedding was exellent, the staff was great with my guest. I was so stress with the whole planinng but who dosent get stress. But the day of my wedding turn out to be the best day of my life. La Fontaine staff but everything in place and its a good thing I but all the bad comments to the side. All I have to say thank you and God Bless this venue.
I attended this place for my friend's wedding. I really had a good time here. I love the decoration they made. It was soo custom made, I was surprised to see the beautiful chandeliers. I heard from my friend that they gave a very good deal for that gorgeous wedding. The food quality was very good. Hardwood floor made us dance all night...!! The place was well maintained! I am very much pleased with the management and staff. I'm planning to have my own special event there soon and hope to have another blast!!!
I would like to thank La Fontaine for helping me through the stress of planning a wedding for 300 people! Every member of their team holds a special place in our memories and heart: Estevan convinced me that La Fontaine was the perfect venue for us, Elsa dealt with my wedding Pinterest board for the decoration (sorry, Elsa), and the owners, Elvia and Camilo, made sure to be around when I most needed them. With that said, I call all the brides to have their weddings at La Fontaine!
This reception hall, for us was a perfect fit. It had everything we needed from the location and capacity, to the flexibility and everything in between. The language of the management is predominately English and Spanish The reason that I still recommend and rate highly.i They really made things easy for us in regards to storage and clean up, which we are so grateful for,.etc. These are the things that really made a difference. I went to a wedding reception here and was very surprised at the size and beauty of the place. I told myself "I know they paid some money for this place". I decided to call and price it for my retirement/birthday party. I could not believe the price the owner quoted to me. It is very reasonable compared to other places i had checked into. And the owner is very very friendly. THANKS BOOK-IT-NOW. CANT WAIT TO PARTY IN DECEMBER 09.
