I wish you could give no stars but still comment as they are not even worthy of 1 star!These people are crooks and are only out to get your money and damage your credit. The office personnel are racist, unhelpful, rude and only cares about the residents they are related to. Be ware, they will still try to get you even if your lease is up. They will also not renew your lease if they have family who needs a place to stay. It happened to me.

I am a resident of RBBC apartments on Bateswood Drive in Houston, TX. Since last Thursday, December 7th, the water heater has been out of service. That was the night of the cold snap in Houston when there was snow. It is now Tuesday, December 12th. Despite empty promises from management, the water heater is still not functional and residents are subject to cold water and, in some cases, freezing temperatures. Residents should not have to pay rent when reasonable expectations are not being met. 5 days to repair or replace a water heater is absurd. Residents should be entitled to some sort of compensation. The saddest part is now that I've written you all, along with several other entities to report this issue, the water heater will be repaired with urgency. Management does a poor job and it's clear that they don't have any personal stake in this property. More than likely they don't live on site. I'd imagine that if they did, we would have hot water by now.
They do a great job with my place. Whenever I need help I call and they answer and then things happen that are mostly to my liking.
I really appreciate good service and communication. I usually don't give reviews but I really had to go above and beyond since my agent did. Highly recommend them for your real estate transactions.
SMI realty has to be filled with the most incompetent, uncaring, slowest, and dumbest bunch of pricks I have ever had to deal with in my life. Don’t walk away from this company. RUN, RUN for your life. I speak mainly about my experience at Wildflower apartments. But I imagine the entire company and system, front bottom to top (including Starla T) is as horrible as the management at Wildflower.
Management attitude is not concerned about the community or very helpful in trying to help clients when u have a issue with other neighbors to solve problems
The staff there seems to be down to earth however James D. Owens is the most unprofessional belligerent scum pig ever. I called over and over to report being harassed by one of the tenants occupying one of the property units and he NEVER did anything (his job). It was to the point he blew it off and even hung up in my face. I willl NEVER recommend this so called company nor will I ever do business with them because of his rude ignorant ass. I reported him to the Texas Real Estate Commission.
At the 8/8/2017 HOA meeting for Bellfort, Andrew Rohner, the son of PMI owner, told the HOA owners AGAIN (last time was 4 months ago) that once the HOA Board stops doing their fiduciary duty as outlined in the HOA by-lines, that the statue of limitations means the Board no longer has to adhere to the HOA by-lines. When owners attending argued that Andrew was wrong, Andrew backed off. Later in the meeting, when told about holes in the building allowing rodents in, Andrew said the HOA would fix them if we exterminated first. However, the holes are why we have rodents (i.e., rats, squirrels, possums, etc.) in the wall so the HOA should pay for extermination. Andrew continued to insist that the HOA has the right to close the pool even though there is nothing wrong with the pool. Heavy trash from other complexes continues to be thrown away at our complex. Many residents are fearful of other residents who rent, and who have threatened them. There we many other owner complaints since the last meeting four months ago, and none of them have been looked into by Andrew. Andrew said he thought the matters had been taken care of. We can only assume Andrew thinks there a magical fairy taking care of HOA matters without PMI scheduling the work orders and ensuring that residents live in a safe environment.
texas renters is the absolute worst!!! they are the worst rental company. i lived in this house for 2yrs, in that 2yrs, the hvac system went packed up, the furnace went out, the water heater broke and flooded the 3rd room and it took texasrenters 4 days to come out after the carpet swelled and smelled. they wanted to charge me for them coming out. the refriderator went out 3 times and they charged me for that too!!! i have videos of that property when i moved out. they still went ahead and charged me the exact amount of my deposit so they are keeping my deposit. but i will pursue this issue with them. i have read so many reports about them on different websites, how they scammed people and conned people. even if they dont end up giving my deposit back, i will make sure to let everyone know how horrible they are. They should be shut down and made to refund people's deposit they pocketed.
