About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

The Va Medical Center in Houston Texas is screwing this Vet again. I called 6 times in early June of 2017 to get a dental appointment for a broken tooth. Finally I did get in touch with some one and they gave me an appointment of 1 August 2017. I complained about having to wait so long, but the lady said they were booked. Well today just a few days until the appointment and I find out that there is no appointment. This has happen to me in the past with the dental clinic, so I called to complain. I was given the total run around. Firs the lady said the doctor will call me back at 1 pm, of course no return call. So I called back and the run around that the doctor would call me back after 5:30 pm. That is bull, they never call back. So I tried to call the director and the assistant director and the transferred me to a dead line that no one answers. I know that the director and the assistant director has people in there office to answer the phone. This is another thing they use to get rid of Vets calling. Years ago I went to 60 minutes and my Congressman to complain about the VA Dental Clinic. I did an interview with 60 minutes and they played it on a Sunday. There were 17 Typed pages of events. I also sent a copy to the VA Director who immediately lost it. They straighten up for a very short period.

Plan for parking to take no less than 45 minutes but as long as 2 hours. Very nice facility, poorly run. Plan to wait in waiting rooms for a while too, I got got helped 2.5 hours after my appointment today. Pretty much need to take 6 hours of work.

If I could rate this a zero I ...

If I could rate this a zero I would. I went to the emergency room because of my ear bleeding on the inside and I wanted to make sure that I had nothing wrong with my ear. I go inside and pull out my military dependent ID and talk to a nurse to get myself checked in. The nurse was nice enough to me and asked me the normal questions and then saw that I wasn't in the system... so they told me I had to go to the receptionist to answer a few questions. First off she was on the phone for God knows how long, and then she has the nerve to tell me that she'll be with me in 15 minutes.... REALLY?! So, I go and sit at my seat and I watch her desk for 20-25 minutes and all she's doing is typing fairly slowly on something. Now as a child to a nurse, I understand they have work, but this was ridiculous. The nurse saw I was getting frustrated and took my vitals so I wouldn't walk out and leave. After the 20-25 minutes (which was SUPPOSED to be 15), the receptionist told me to come and pull up a chair and she asked me questions. She asked me if I had one piece of paperwork and I answered with a polite no, she asked me about another piece of paperwork and I said no again, and then she literally said "Do you have anything?!" very rude like. I was taken aback that she even did that and I snapped back and said, "No, but I have my military ID card." She took it and said she would be right back with a s*** load of paperwork and walked slowly to her destination. I waited 5-10 minutes on her and she came back asking me what was wrong and I told her about my ear. She told me I couldn't go there and that I had to go to another emergency room. So I glared at her and told her, "Alright, give my card back and I'll go there!" and I took it from her and stormed out. If you're a military dependent, DO NOT go to this hospital. I could point out 4 people in that hospital that weren't even veterans...
