Although the items for sale at Hawaiian Island Stamp & Coin at 1111 Bishop Street are really very cool, I have never had such rude, disinterested service from anyone in my whole life as I got from the greasy-haired, untidy, completely bored guy in there, or the unbelievably rude girl who yawned right in my face!! This place would be a must-visit, if the staff were engaged. I actually hated my experience there, and regret the taint the rude people put on my cool purchase. What an idiot I was to buy from them!! (Still, I love my coin).

My daughter and I visited last summer and decided to visit the Hawaiian Stamp & Coin store It reminded me of a Museum. There's Books, Postcards, Stamps, Jewelry, Gold, and Silver Coins. the people that work there are very knowledgeable especially the two men. They know their history and have many stories. I know next time I'm on the Island I'll be going in there to see what's new.
This store has it all. The best selection of coins, stamps, paper money and Hawaiiana I have ever seen. Every one was really nice and knowledgeable and gave me lots of great advice on what to invest in. I now have a new hobby. Yay
