For any future brides to be... please don't go to this store. I realize that there are a few customers who felt that they had exceptional experiences there, but if you look at any of the NEGATIVE reviews of this place (look for them on Yelp too) you'll see that the comments are ALL very consistent.
Most will comment about that awful younger woman who is cold and seems downright irritated to have to help a customer. The older woman, perhaps the owner, may have had a stroke or something in the past which is very sad, but it has left her with speech that is incredibly difficult to understand. The younger woman, who obviously is used to it and can understand her, is only sometimes willing to ""translate"" for the customer, even if its really obvious that you are having a hard time understanding what the woman is saying.
This was a 2nd marriage for me... I actually wasn't even planning to get a dress at first.. but my friends convinced me that its still a wonderful occasion and I should get fancied up for it! We went to Vows basically because we happended to be passing by on the street. Amazingly, I found a beautiful dress that I loved, right off the rack! It actually made me feel so excited about getting dressed up again. BUT... right from the start, the young grouchy woman was very cold and unfriendly, and when I went for my fitting to measure the alterations, the experience was so awful, that it actually brought me to tears and all I wanted to do was just get out of there. I had already paid for the dress 2 weeks prior so it was too late to change my mind. Even though they saw how upset I was because of them, they never once changed their attitude or approach to helping me with my dress. They didn't even acknowledge it, and just let me stand there in the dress, in tears, while they finished measuring out the alteration. My friend was so shocked at how horrible they were that she was just standing there in disbelief and frustration with them as well.
TO MAKE EVERYTHING EVEN WORSE.... I just picked up the dress 2 days ago (my very small intimate wedding is in 1 week), and I tried on the dress last night for the first time since picking it up from the store... only to find a large stain (looked almost like a coffee stain that was cleaned over) right over the very font bust area of the gown.
I am planning to go back to day to see they have anything to say about this... but I almost don't want to. Each time I think about having to go back there, I just feel like crying. They have truly cast an awful feel to my upcoming wedding...
Its a second marriage for me, and super small wedding, so I'm not really even that stressed out about the wedding itself, but for anyone else, I know how important the dress is (my first time was everything most girls dream of) and how you DON'T need any added stress to your life 1 WEEK before the wedding.
There are many other wonderful wedding gown boutiques in town, which much better service (people who actually enjoy what they do and care about making this the happiest time of your life), and much better selection. I would try Casablanca or The Bridal Boutique. I've been to both in the past for other occasions, and the experience what much more what you would expect when you are planning for what should be one of the most happiest days of your life.
I don't usually write reviews but I felt so strongly that I wanted to spare anyone else from this kind of an experience. 1 star rating- only because you have to put at least one to publish the review. PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS STORE.
I had exactly three days to find my wedding dress as my fiance and I are stationed overseas with the military and I so happened to be able to fly back to the U.S. for a few days. I made an appointment with Vicky Wong (the owner) before I arrived and I brought the names of the gowns I wanted to try on.
Rather than simply accommodate what I wanted to try on she insisted she pick out similar gowns. I explained to her I wanted to try on these specific dresses. From there she went on a tangent about how she has been in bridal retail for over 30 years and she knows what's "in style," etc., etc., etc. Finally, after telling her I was not there to argue, I needed to find a dress and she could either help me or not. She provided me with TWO of the dresses that I was looking for.
Her assistant was trying to help me but Vicky yelled at her (how humiliating) and insisted that she was going to do all the work even though I could barely understand a word she was saying to me (not to mention spitting throughout the conversations).
If you don't care about customer service, professionalism, and actually being heard as a consumer and bride then you can go here for the reasonable prices. However, you can find much better elsewhere!

Yes, this store does not allow picture taking and disclosed the brand name until the gown has been purchased. Does brand matter that much to anyone and does anyone know every gown that has been designed by that particular designer. So the motive behind the previous review is clear, perhaps they are written by a competitor that wants customers to find out this information without having the necessary inventories for trying on, so they can lured the customer in giving them some stupid discount.

I don't usually write reviews but I thought that Vows should be acknowledged for their great service. Vows was the 3rd bridal shop that I visited and I didn't have to look any further. After asking basic questions about my price range and dress preferences (material, shape, etc.), the owner and her staff picked out some great dresses--I loved each one that I tried on. The owner seems to have a gift for picking out dresses that will look good on your body type. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable; I also saw price tags on every dress that I tried on. The prices seemed to be more reasonable than the other two bridal shops that I previously visited--probably because they don't mark up the prices and then tell you they'll give you a discount (like some other places). I had a great experience and would recommend this place to other brides.

this is by far the worst bridal salon in the state! they cut the tags off the dresses so you dont know what dress you are trying on. they dont let you take pictures of yourself in the dress you are buying to match the rest of your wedding party to. they are not in compliance with many of the designers requirements that you must leave all tags in tact. horrible service, high prices, crazy lady who owns the place and in bad part of town. dont waste your time going there.
