My beautiful German Shepard/Greyhound mix had got what looked like a large blood blister on her ear. I was worried and i didn't know where to go. I took her to a vet close to home and they charged me over $100 to just look at it and tell me what was wrong. Then my neighbor told me about Kokua. For the surgery that was gonna cost me over $700 plus follow up visits and medican at additional charge i ended up paying around $500 and all the follow-up visits were included in that price. I will never take any of my dogs anywhere else! They are definately the best priced vet on the island!! And the staff is so nice they are always answering my questions and they don't act like its a big inconvience to do so. I recommend them to every on i meet who has pets.

I found Kokua Pet Clinic online. My dog had abscessed teeth and needed oral surgery. The Kaneohe VCA was very expensive and so I put off getting my dog worked on. I love my dog but pay cuts don't leave me any choice. Do I put my dog down because she needs dental work? So I researched online and found Kokua. It cost much less than VCA, and the vet was quick and didn't hit me with unnecessary tests for my dog. She got her teeth worked on and so far is recovering nicely. I can understand why Kaneohe was so expensive...they are open all the time for emergencies and they have a huge facility so their overhead must be astronomical. The Kokua Clinic staff were helpful and friendly and the facility was clean ( I don't know why the one reviewer criticized the cleanliness of the place). Kokua cost was so much less, thankfully I was able to afford care for my dog. I bought my dog 10 years ago as a puppy and money was not as tight as it is now. I'll bet a lot of people are making hard decisions about care for their pets these days. Kokua made it easier.
