Provided by Citysearch -There is a hostess with dreadlocks and he wears it in a bun and he is extremely rude! We waited an hour and a half and finally got our table. My husband was in the restroom and the hostess said ""you can't eat alone in here"". I said my husband is in the bathroom and will be right here. He comes back and says ""I checked the bathroom and he is not there"". So I call my husband and he is outside trying to find the right staircase to come up to our table. Geez!! Where is your aloha spirit? Well, here is mine - ""get a haircut, your hair is gross and I can't believe they let you work in the food industry without a hair net"".

Provided by Citysearch -This is my idea of a very reasonably priced breakfast or brunch. The eggs were really tasty and a real treat!
I however don't anticipate on going back anytime soon because it's located in Waikiki and let's face it, the only thing Waikiki is built for is tourists who believe that IS Hawai'i. Its biggest drawback is its location--it doesn't feel local or a neighborhood I feel comfortable in. I am more willing to wait in a line when I feel comfortable with the neighborhood.

Provided by Citysearch -As of November 14, 2008 Eggs and Thing's is closed down as they are in the process of moving. I am told it will reopen within a month at a new location.

Provided by Citysearch -This place has one of the best breakfasts in Waikiki. The staff knows this and can be short at times. Don't let it bother you, just tell them what you want and they will get it. Portions are more than enough and prices are reasonable for the area. The place does fill up with international tourists, so be patient with the different surroundings. The fresh juices are AMAZING!!! The hours are great too, after drinks at the club there is definitely no better place to go.

Provided by Citysearch -We have been eating at Eggs n Things since 1987 at their old location. Used to live in HI, now come to vacation. Eggs n Things is always at the top of our dreamy vacation list of things to do. The chocolate chip pancakes with coconut syrup- closest to eating heaven you will get. Friendly staff and let me tell you- it IS worth the wait. Impatient grumpy people go away and leave the wait for those who know it is worth it. Great selection and friendly Hawaiian atmosphere. Ana is the prettiest and best waitress in the world. Can't wait to go back again. Aloha

Provided by Citysearch -This is a great place to get fresh and healthy food. Their menu is awsome. Their prices are a little high and the wait is long but thats cause its worth it. Ive lived in hawaii for a long time and have also traveled to many places and Eggs n things is one of my most favorite places in the world to go to. I highly recommend this place.

Provided by Citysearch -many complain that the wait is to long, first thing to learn is that nobody in Hawaii should be in a hurry, I recommend getting there early. Huge omelets and great crepes. Good place to go with the family or with a few friends. I personally liked the lay back attitude. They also have ingredients you can buy to take home. Definitely give it a try.

Provided by Citysearch -this place swarms with tourists, the wait is insane and the hostesses at the front do NOT belong in hawaii with their nasty attitude. if the food is great, i can tolerate the wait and bad service but it's NOT. i went there hungry and by the time i was seated, i didn't feel like eating anything. a total waste of my saturday morning. there are so many other places with excellent brunch, FRESHLY-squeezed juices and friendly servers. this place is such a tourist-trap.

Provided by Citysearch -There's always a line to this place. So, that might be a huge hint that the food must be pretty good. This place opens from 11:00 pm to 2:00 pm to catch the night clubbers on there way home and the early rising tourist before they go on their around the Island tours. Omelets are huge and Pancakes are nice and fluffy and not to heavy. If the wait is not that long give this place a try, it should be worth your while.
