I’m very regretted to have rented the car at A1-Rent-Car Hawaii - the reviews at the internet speaks for itself, many disappointed customers with very similar problem of me: contracting the service because of the “good” price, and after return the car the company charges fees inventing any problem. Also, it is not by chance that the company was revoked by BBB Hawaii (, with so many customers complaints unsolved.

Also a very rude staff and a manager (Panda Takara) who doesn't care about how his customers are getting treated. Plus, good luck trying to get any document or reimbursement from them if they promise you one. The manager (Panda) will lie and say it has been processed.

I should have read the reviews and saved myself the trouble of dealing with this company!

I strongly recommend that you do not use this company as they have the worst customer service i have ever come across where they think it is acceptable to treat you like dirt.

The car they rented us was meant to have a full safety check but it was not fit to be on a scrap heap the breaks made the whole car shudder when they were used.

They then have tried to charge us for a bump on the car that was clearly there before we took it and it has so many marks on it the you would never notice.

They demanded that we paid 500USD before we left we agreed to pay 250USD as a token and then requested that they send the damage estimates.

My wife called them and one of the employees was what i can only say was the out unbelievable as he started swearing down the phone.

I can not repeat the conversation that i had with him.... if this is customers service wow

We have just checked our credit card account and they have tried to take a payment of over 1000USD without our permission.




Do not rent with then they charged me $1,800 in cleaning fees when I had taken my car to get washed early that morning the employees used foul language with me
