Amazing food amazing service. My only issue would be view, which they don't have but the food was so amazing I was ok missing a nice view one night
Great place to go when you're in a hurry. I come here often, and I always get their spicy ahi don and their chicken katsu. Definitely recommended.
Beware of inaccurate incompetent billing errors and bad billing practices which could surprise you with harm to your credit, due to their inexcusably bad billing errors and policies. Also the wait time for Hawaii Kai Urgent care can be really long - sometimes many hours to see a Doctor - very slow. They billed me incorrectly several times and while they owe me money, they actually sent me to collections for $30 that they claimed I owed from 2009 that I did not ever owe - in fact they owe me money for payments from my insurance that they never forwarded to me. It seems like you save time with it being close and supposedly an Urgent Care. It is slow and you could probably drive to a faster location like the Urgent Care in Kailua, before you will see a Doctor at the slow Hawaii Kai location. The billing errors are bad, unimaginable and constantly wrong.
This place is amazing! Found it on yp! I went there for my birthday and by far the best sushi/sashimi and most authentic sushi bar I've been to on Oahu. The sushi melts in your mouth...you must try the otoro! The sushi chef is amazing!! He has the best advice for sake selection, because he is a sake lover. Reservations highly recommended since the place only seats 11. Lastly, japanese speaking helps when you order or you'll have to wait for the waitress. Overall this place is a 6 stars out of 5. The service great, but the food is amazing!
Good food, atmosphere, energy and customer service.
The Willows is an unexpected escape from the congestion of downtown Honolulu. And by unexpected I mean you literally drive down what seems to be a typical city neighborhood on a small side street and then find yourself walking in to a tropical garden that is lush and serene and filled with soothing features like a water fall, rambling stream and bubbling fountains-- oh the fountains, sigh... I do love them so.The buffet is amazing and has something for everyone. Really, this is a wonderful place to host a gathering of friends and family just be sure to remember to tell them to come hungry-- like really hungry and oh, also, to wear comfy shoes as the restaurant is best described as a collection of bungalows surrounding a fountain filled courtyard and with the entire buffet housed in one of the dwellings well, you may be up for a bit of a walk to refill your plates. Which really is quite a nice opportunity to stretch in between plates of overflowing yumminess-- if you have on comfy shoes.INSIDER TIPS: Come hungry, make reservations and plan on paying for valet parking or allowing for time spent driving around looking for parking. And also don't be freaked out by the neighborhood-- you'll be so incredibly impressed once inside this gem of an eating experience.
