My overall experience was great. They have very nice staff. Charles is a very nice person. I am very happy that I bought a car from AutoBiz.
The salesperson Anthony Au was polite, cordial, and informative about the vehicle we purchased. The same cannot be said about the Manager James Clark - This manager did not follow GMs own policy for my trade in. According to the GM website when I built my new Chevrolet, the fair trade-in price that was according to Kelley Blue Book was $4000 to $5000. This manager was deceptive and would only give less than half the GM websites quoted price. He offered me only $2000 for my trade-in. This was very disrespectful, and insulting to me as an educated customer who knows how much my trade in is actually worth. To put this into perspective, two different dealerships have already made offers on my trade in when I was car shopping - about 2-3 weeks time period, one offered $3850, and one offered $5000. I ended up purchasing my new car anyway because I had already made a down payment (non-refundable) on it when I special ordered, and left without trading in my old car; which I later sold for $6000. Long story short, I sold my would be trade-in for $6000 privately - the one James Clark said was only worth $2000. My advice is, it seems they might try to severely lowball you on your trade if they know you've made a non-refundable down payment. Please be careful, and be an educated buyer.
Buying a car is always a stressful thing...I spent about a month shopping around for cars, went to multiple dealerships, and spoke to a lot of people. For that entire month I was overwhelmed with what car to buy, where to to buy, and more importantly who to trust. Most of the dealerships I visited were home to your typical sleazy car salesman. You know, the ones that have the look of bs caked on top of their fake smiles and then more bs caked on top of that.KIC Motors is plain and simple and doesn't come with the bs facade that other dealerships have. The minute I walked onto the lot I felt like I was walking into my uncles garage. Everyone was really genuine and welcoming and weren't pushy at all. Michael and Chad were great and really hooked it up. They took a lot of the stress out of buying a car for me and got me set up with a sick deal. If you're looking to buy a used car I would highly recommend these guys! Don't waste your time being lied to at sketchy dealerships and don't overpay for a used car at a well known dealership...save yourself the time and the stress and go straight to this place and see Mike and Chad!
Customer serviceI called to make an appt for my car and ended up getting into an argument with the 1st person's supervisor (2nd person) and she told me to get lost, I told her supervisor (3rd person) what happened he told me not to worry about it and to bring my car in, had it serviced only to later receive correspondence from his supervisor (4th person) telling me I'm now banned from the property. I think she lied to them because it mentioned me threatening and using bad language.“JN Chevrolet, where your experience matters.”
Wife and I are having a baby. Came back 3 years later for a small SUV. These guys are still doing well. They have a new, bigger location since opening. Another good experience feeling confident and no pressure.Daniel and staff are easy to get along with.
Everything went smoothly.
