Honesty is the best policy when it comes to condo mgmnt. Unfortunately, abusing funds and disrespectful to owner rightful requests is the norm. If looking for a small mgmnt co to manage your bldg, do consider Helen and Dale.

Greetings all, I was read the reviews and did not expect them to be true. I lived at the Keeaumoku units that where managed by Marcie. Communication is key, During my stay everything was fine, residence wasn't being taken care, exterior was always dirty, they never cleaned adequately they just blew things away and hoped water would make it look clean. They tore down Great trees that provided so much shade in the evening, poor management decisions the list keeps going. Marcie was difficult to get a hold of. Email seem to work fairly well. We moved in the resident manager was just whipping down the unit and unit was messy i had to clean the entire unit before i moved in. The bathroom shower was awful mold everywhere, caulking over caulking to try to cover it up. took me months to clean. laundry mat steals your money, and its a hassle to work with the laundry company they hired. Unit was affordable so we put up with it. At the end, there was issues, Marcie avoided all of my responses, and she stole most of my security deposit. Very sad when landlords take advantage of you. she charged me for routine tasks that are landlords responsibility. From the looks of there corporation they need the money, they stole ours so they can continue to make money. To top it off the security deposit check was written with a miss-spelled last name. Afters years of paying your rent on time and you do your part, simply just dont expect anything back from these this realty management. Bad business should never be rewarded.
They sold us our rental. Great company. Way different than the main land. Our agent wasn't pushy and there was a team feel not a one man commissioned situation.
Please save yourself the stress and heartache of renting from this sham of a management company. All of the neighbors in the building in which I formerly rented an apartment from Urban Management Corp, also known as Urban Real Estate had lived in the same building for between 3- 12 years, not only peacefully, but as a community.Urban hired a new building manager to manage at 1710 Young Street who has the manners of a 6 year old on meth, has ZERO management experience, and is completely unprofessional. The manager (Ikaika, also known as Clifton), right off the bat, threatened several tenants, swore at them, told multiple people he could do whatever he wants as the property manager wants to f*** him, and told multiple tenants he would evict people so his friends could move into the building.The building manager also yelled at an 85 year old lady who lives alone in her apartment and is so sweet. He also tells the children in the building to "shut the f** up" and tells them he hates children.When the tenants started to complain to the property management company (Urban), the response was, "I don't believe any of you, you're all ganging up on him and getting together and making up lies. "Finally the harassment was so bad that two of the tenants had to take out TRO's on the building manager, for their own safety, thinking that at least this would grant them peace of mind.However, the response of the management company was to not only EVICT the tenants who filed TRO's but anyone who got subpoenaed to the hearing!! Three apartments in total, 7 people.God forbid anyone else should go through that again so I would strongly advise never to rent from this management company. Unless you like being harassed, and being punished for complaining, and don't value your sanity stay far, far away from Urban!!

The manager, Marty Zeidenberg is an oldman who has some sort of mental disorder which makes him very disrespectful and unreasonable. It's known that he invades peoples privacy / spies, creates problems where there aren't any and will extort or evict people. He has no respect for working sailors and steals their property to sell to other sailors. If you get caught in his web then expect to learn the meaning of extortion or eviction. I'm going to spread it all around. I'm trying to get in touch with the Honolulu Sailors Home Society, so we can get this guy straightened out or even fired. But there seems to be no way to contact the Society, which he has probably done on purpose. He is straight-up harassing me. He watches me on the camera, then comes out of his room. He is harassing me because I have boogieboards and a skateboard. I just shipped my car to CA, so I must keep them in the room. I'm renting this space
he was 20 minutes late for an appointment and didn't appologize. Started swearing at me when we didn't like the over priced condo he was trying to sell us. Called again and now he is doing business as Gold Coast Buildings. What ever he tries to sell you don't be decieved.
