        Hickory House offer inpatient and outpatient specialty services. These include physical, occupational, and speech therapy - for a variety of neurological and muscle-skeletal conditions. Our therapists are experienced in: Vital Stim for swallowing dysfunctions, rehabilitation following joint replacement and cardiac surgury, pain management with lazer therapy for arthritis, as well as lazer therapy for pain control and peripheral neuropathies. We at Hickory House are very proud of our wound care team. Our certified wound care nurse, physical therapist, and licensed nursing personnel use cutting edge modalities and treatment for effective wound healing. C-P-I , or closed pulsed irrigation , is a wound care debridement therapy administered directly in our patients' rooms - - by one of our C-P-I trained, licensed, physical therapist. Hickory House is pleased to included this substantial therapy for our patients who are in need of wound care management. Our Patient-Centered Respiratory Care - Hickory House is dedicated to providing high quality care that is evidence based and individualized to serve the needs of our Residents and their families. Our respiratory services are designed for those who experience problems such as: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer and post-lung cancer surgury, Pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema, asthma, apnea. Specialized Care and Services include: Planning the Resident's/Patient'ts care, chronic lung disease, sleep apnea, pneumonia and tracheostomy management.
