Bright Start Child Care & Preschool

I am a first time mom and was very sad to have to leave my son when I returned to work. The staff at Bright Start have made the transition incredibly easy for me. Although my son is too young to speak I know he is comfortable and well cared for at Bright Start. The staff are so caring and attentive. The facility is always clean and the staff is very professional. The experience is more than I could have hoped for.

I have been very pleased overall with the care my daughter has received since attending Bright Start. As a former attorney for the Department of Children and Family Services, I am all too familiar with the things that can happen to children who are not properly attended to and cared for, even in a daycare setting. I have found in Bright Start a facility that provides a caring and safe environment for learning and play.



Bright Start has maintained an excellent record with DCFS, the body that monitors and governs all licensed daycare facilities in the state of Illinois. Additionally, the teachers are very open and work with parents to help the children achieve their goals. As a working parent, my child spends a significant amount of time in daycare, so it is important to me that she is well cared for and happy in her setting. While it is never easy to leave your child with someone else for any extended period of time, I take comfort in knowing that my daughter is in good hands in my absence. Many times when I pick her up, she is not always ready to leave because she is having so much fun.



Finally, aside from her safety and enjoyment, she is truly learning a great deal at Bright Start. She is only two and knows more Spanish than I do. Many people often assume she is older than she is because she is very articulate for her age. It is nice to have a place that is working with me to instill learning and basic values in my child in an environment that is both amusing to the child and educational. My daughter certainly will have the best foundation when she reaches school age thanks to help from the teachers at Bright Start.
