My wife and I are regulars at Portofino's. We are on a budget so don't have too many options for a romantic date night that won't break the bank. Normally we have two appetizers a main dish for two and drinks about 3 rounds and we've never gone over 60 bucks. Drinks are 2 for 1 all day/night long, when you do that math drinks on average are 2-4 bucks each. We get our usual Whiskey and cokes which are around 2 bucks a piece. They serve 100 Pipers as their house whiskey, it tops Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey, Makers Mark or Crown Royal. Not sure how they get it cause the nearest vendor is located in Baltimore, believe me I've checked. lol There's about 7 that are long time servers at the restaurant and 4-5 that usually are new faces, the owner Joey is a good judge of character, ony hire's friendly and attentive servers. You can see him all over the restaurant over seeing all operations. We absolutely love this place, it really feels like home.
We ordered for delivery...was told "up to one hour" hour and a half to arrive and to top it off it was COLD! Tasted Terrible. Very dissapointing.
This place is nothing short of the BEST and most AUTHENTIC Italian cuisine you can find in Homestead. From the moment you walk in you realize this is a family owned restaurant
We ordered their honey something wings. The young lady behind the counter was very polite & friendly, however, the wings were tasteless. Should be giving a 1 star rating, but because of the good customer service, we'll leave it at 3.
Great service & selection of food. Really enjoyed the garlic rolls... oh they were garlicky heaven! Their food is made from scratch... all handmade authentic New York style pizza which is a must try. I highly recommend this place as casual dinning & great for pickups if your on the run. So go try some yummy garlic rolls & have a chat with the friendly staff.
She was totally arrogant and disrespectful of other ethnicities, I asked her what was the deals the had and pronounced buffet wrong she smirked with arrogant face. And rudely responded me with out telling me about buffet and price so I ended up taking pizza out to go! Lol
My family has gone to Son of a pizza and found it clean and well kept. The food is very good and prices are fair. For lunch they allways have specials. The tuna sandwhich is great.Pizza is one of the best in town.
After reading a Miami Herald review, we travelled south to Florida City on a Sunday afternoon. We were not disappointed. The fritters were moist and tasty. The fried shrimp were huge and sweet. The lobster nuggets were great ! Serve was fantastic. The only suggestion is to ease up on the breading. We will definitely go again!
I just love that New York style pizza and this business is the best for it. Your going to love their garlic rolls. They melt in your mouth.
