About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Candace99 I have been in an entire family of farmers my whole life. They used to use pesticides and now my family chooses to grow organic. You should be happy to know the annoyance you get at night for a time is 100% safe farming. Would you rather have pesticides dumped near your house.? Let me tell you what the people including myself have gotten from pesticides, cancer, early onset Alzhiemers, autoimmune disease and the list goes on. Ryan Martin is a decent man doing his job and helping to save the world for our health and the future for our children.

Candace99,I don't work for Bornt, Im not a farmer, nor do I live in your area so Im not making light (no pun intended) of your concern but we see the same practice in northern California. Unfortunately, harvesting in the very early morning has become a common practice in California. Once the sun heats the crops it impacts the quality, and it takes a significant amount of energy (electricity) to re-cool the product and take the heat back out. If not the product will never last in the supply chain and then we are wasting food. The energy to run the lights for harvest are a tiny fraction of what it would take to remove the suns heat. As long as the general public demands fresh produce, and conservation of energy for the environment at the same time, this practice is the only real option today. It doesn't help your issue but its safe to assume that any farmer doing this would rather be home sleeping, than in the fields at 3am if there was another choice. I would bet most of the vegetables you buy today are harvested in the same manner.
