Cameron's Country Cafe

This place is horrible!!! I haven't been there in over 3 years because my husband got food poisoning from the salad bar. After spending half the night at the hospital we stopped by Cameron's on our way home to tell the owner what had happened. We weren't asking for anything we just wanted to make him aware of the problem. He called us "liars" and told us not to come back!! If this were to happen to someone older it could have killed them. My husband was sick for 2 days. Stay away!!!

This place is terrible! The diner offered all you can eat buffet until 7:30 pm. We arrived at 7pm and the buffet was skimpy. We were not told that the buffet was "as is" until 7:15 or so which was after we already started eating. They did not warn us until after we were eating and drinks were ordered. They refused to make any more meat dishes. At 7:20 pm they yelled "last call" for buffet. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children. When we asked for a partial comp on the ticket due to the lack of food on the buffet, the staff became hostile. I had them call the owner and the owner refused to comp because his waitstaff lied and told him they warned us that the buffet was "as is" when we arrived. They threatened to call the police and accused us of not being able to afford the bill. We paid the full bill to avoid having our children in the presence of foul language from the staff. The owner also called me several vulgar names over the phone which was highly unnecessary. I run a business myself and would never treat even the worst customers with any kind of disrespect.

I didn't even want to give 1 star but I had to....Horrible service from a few of the waitresses. First incident, husband ordered eggs over-medium they came out with the whites still runny so he sent them back. The cook/owner was angry because he ordered eggs from the menu instead of eating the nasty scrambeled eggs from the bar. Second incident, husband ordered a 3 piece chicken meal and it came out with 2 legs and 1 thigh and burnt. All other places know to at least give you 1 breas* and 2 smaller pieces with a 3 pieces meal. When he asked the cook about it the cook got irate and told him he could give him 3 wings next time and there wasn't a thing he could do about it and then told him if he didn't leave he would call the police. When my husband called the owner the next day he was cussed out by him. What a horrible way to run a business.
