Real school school not day care a cut above the rest

Would give it zero stars if I could! This preschool has broken numerous laws. Ratios of how many adults are legally required to be in a room with students are never met. Students are punished and embarrassed constantly. Moved to lower classes if they do not behave "properly." Nothing is developmentally appropriate. They pride themselves on being an academic preschool, but what people don't realize is that means that 3, 4, and 5 year olds are being taught and expected to act like they are in 3rd grade at least. When this is not met, as no one would sanely expect it to be, the children are screamed at, embarrassed, and punished. Not a good pre-school environment for children...

The director is a fake, two faced, people pleasing, liar. She acts like the school is the best place in the entire world, everything is all happiness and sunshine, but then once she gets people to sign up, it's gone. She then proceeds to scream at anyone, child or adult, who does not do as she says. When parents come into the school, she makes sure everything looks great, so no one realizes what's going on, but if you look closer, it's not good. She is a narcissistic bully. She thinks she knows better than the laws in place for preschools and does whatever she wants, then changes it when the state comes in to inspect, so she can keep her license. She tells people exactly what they want to hear, but it is all a lie. Teachers- you don't want to work there. Parents- you don't want your kids to be tortured there. This school should not be allowed be open. STAY AWAY!

I am always able to speak with the teachers and the director at Holmdel Preschool freely about my son's progress. I would recommend the school to anyone who is looking for a school where their kids feel safe, have fun, and have a good academic program.

This school brings in special guests for events and my son doesn't stop talking about them all! They are always wonderful experiences. All of these class events are well organized and I always have the feeling that I have full access to the teachers and staff as needed through e-mail!

Holmdel Preschool is great. I wouldn't want my children to go any where else. My children love their teachers, and I love their staff.

All of the staff and the teachers at Holmdel Pre-School are wonderful. The busing program that is available through the district is helpful.

You don't have to worry when your kids are at Holmdel Preschool. They have exceptionally high standards.

We love Holmdel! Over the past 8 years all my kids have attended preschool here and have enjoyed their experience there. They have great teachers that provide a loving and warm environment with fun field trips!

I'm happy with the staff here. My children love their teachers and they come home every day happy and excited to tell me about what they learned and the projects they completed.

The hours and the availability for public school age kids to take the bus from Holmdel Preschool are what made us choose Holmdel Preschool. We have found the teachers to be caring while teaching an advanced course load.
