Such a cool place to eat. The food is phenomenal, and the wait staff is incredibly efficient, despite the loud environment. Watching the belly dancers dance while you eat is a new and enjoyable experience, and dancing with them on the tables absolutely makes your night. This place is perfect for birthday parties!

I've been just about everywhere Florida trying to find a nice Greek restaurant... it's not just the food at Taverna Opa that makes it the best, but the atmosphere and entertainment also. We went last weekend for my cousin's birthday dinner and we got one of the ""family style"" menus - so delicious! The dancing after was also one of the highlights of our night.
There was sooo much food too.. the saganaki, dolmades, lamb chops and keftedes were especially good. I could eat this stuff every day.
Thanks for a great night and for making my cousin's birthday very special.

Taverna Opa is pretty good (start with some meze, salad too and try the seafood!) But the party after dinner really gets the restaurant hopping. Everyone just lets loose and enjoys themselves. Dancing and socializing. A great time and it's better if you get a few people together and go. Bring your camera, you'll need it!

i went to opa friday night with some friends. the atmosphere was fun and the waiters were very nice, they even danced with us! the food was amazing. the only negative thing i have to say about this place would be that the manager was rude when we first got there and then when we were almost done the same rude guy put a bucket of beer right on the end of our table and started drinking it with his friends. i thought that was extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. over all, i would recommend opa.
