We have a Jewelry Catalog mailing that we perform quarterly. We have been using LCS in Fort Lauderdale for this, but the last 3 times we did the mailing, LCS made mistakes. While Sharing this with a female executive friend, she told me about Mastermailer. I guess she has first hand experience with them. So we made an appointment with them to see the facility and get a quote. The place has been around for quite some time and the facility was spotless and neat. We got a detailed quote, which I must say was not as cheap as LCS was, but we went ahead and gave them our next mailing. Long story short, they now store all our catalogs and do all our mailings. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is true. We might have saved 3 - 4 cents per piece at LCS, but it was not worth the hassle. I feel like we are on auto-pilot with Mastermailer.
Had the occasion to find Mastermailer on the Bellsouth Yellow Pages website. Glad we did because they were able to come up with a way to do our mailing better and cheaper than we had originally planned to do it. We are going to be back there again for our next mailing. Way to go!
We used to do business with VanDee in Hollywood. When they closed, we searched and found Mastermailer, Inc. in Hollywood. Wish I had known about them before.
They went out of their way to take care of us. Since they used to be a mailing list company when they first opened in 1980, they paid special attention to my mailing list. They helped me clean it up, CASS certify it and even prossed it for all the changes of address that occurred since we compiled it.
Mailing lists, they said, are the most important component to the mailing process because if your mail does not get where it is supposed to go, it will not matter how good your printed piece or your product offer is.
We thought we were satisfied with VanDee, but now we recognize all that we were missing.
Mastermailer is family owned and operated and their family pride shows in the way they treat people and take care of their clients.
By the way, I read an unflattering review here and I do not know who that person is rating. She must have been in another establishment.
They have good quality of work, but unfortunately they have bad customer service. I called to receive an estimate & was treated rudely because I had chosen not to use their services in a past estimate. It was extremely unprofessional especially because it was the owner of the company who behaved in such a manner.
We have been in business since 1980 and we would not have lasted this long if we treated clients "rudely" as this "reviewer" unjustly accuses. It is unfortunate that this particular client, who has asked for and received a total of 14 different itemized and detailed written quotations, never acts upon these quotations by placing any orders. She just like to collect quotations on behalf of her employer. When asked about previous quotations we have provided, she becomes defensive and pens unflattering reviews. Interestingly though, while she unfairly maligned my company in this review in June of 2008, she returned, asked for and received 3 more cheerfully provided quotations in January of 2009. Guess what...she did not place an order then either. What can I say?
