The portions are tremendous everyone ate from each other’s plates it was so fun! I had the Lasagna and my boyfriend had the Snapper Oreganato. We started with the Sampler it had Antipasto Italiano. It had a lil of everything so good with our Chianti wine. Then for desert we had the home made tiramisu woooo yummy. Thanks Mama Mia for yet another enjoyable dining experience!
My best friend took me to Mama Mia last night. He is a tough customer and knows his food. He had raved about this place! He WAS NOT WRONG. This is one of the greats. The veal parm is a bone in pounded veal chop that must 20 ounces. The menu is just incredible - you cannot go wrong. A lot of folks in the local area know the deal - but if you want INCREDIBLE and a story to tell - try this. I am from NY and this wouid be impossible to get into anywhere in NY, Brooklyn, LI or Jersey

This restaurant was a feast for the eyes and the palette! We arrived well after 8pm on a Friday night expecting an easy seating and arrived to a packed house. They must be doing something right! Luckily for us, the 45 minute wait was in reality merely 20, and we were swiftly greeted by our server after being seated.
My colleagues and I chose antipasto and seafood salads as starters. They were excellent, and we also got the garlic rolls.
For our main courses we chose chicken parm , cheese ravioli with pink sauce, and a skirt steak with potatoes. Everything was rich in flavor and absolutely delicious. We were stuffed, but after seeing the dessert menu, we just could not resist. So, we shared a canoli and a tiramisu.
The fact that we were unable to finish either dessert is not a reflection of the flavor or quality; in fact the opposite is true. We were simply too stuffed to continue. So be forewarned, you simply must save room for dessert! It is a crime to leave any crumb behind.

We went to this upscale restaurant on the recommendation of one of our friends, who has lived in Hollywood for many years. At 9:30 p.m., the place was pretty crowded, but we were able to seat without reservations. They serve a full menu of Italian entrees that include steak, chicke parm, snapper and excellent pasta!. It is simply excellent food - the kind you wish your grandma made. The tomato sauce is wonderful. The fresh garlic rolls are awesome. Service was excellent. It has a fun atmosphere with lots of options to choose from. The portions are very large, so you'll have enough for another meal.

I live close to Hollywood, but I had never been in Mamma Mia before. Last week I went there with my family and was delighted to try different menu items.
I ordered stuffed ravioli, which was delicious. They reminded me of my grandma's homemade pasta. Then, I tried skirt steak, lobster and meatball from my family's plates. Everything was excellent! The service was great too. The servers knew what they were talking about and they helped us to select our dishes.
We had a great evening!

I love going here after work for the early bird happy hour 1 for 3! The restaurant is so relaxing with a great ambiance and great food. The service is fantastic and always on time. I have dinner there almost every Friday and during the week is lunch and cocktails. It is decorated very nice and the location is so convenient right off the Federal highway!!
WENT TO MAMA MIA'S LAST WEEK AND BROUGHT MY FAMILY FROM NEW YORK WITH ME TO CHECK OUT MY FAVORITE ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN SOUTH FLORIDA MAMA MIA'S.. THERE WERE 6 OF US AND WE GOT A GREAT TABLE BY THE WINDOW OUR SERVER WAS VERY POLITE AND WALKED US THROUGH THE ENTIRE MENU WE ALL ORDERED ENTREES SOME OF US FROM THE SPECIAL BOARD. WE ALL DECIDED TO GET SALADS BECAUSE I TOLD THEM HOW DELISIOUS THE DRESSING WAS. THEY ALL AGREED. THEN CAME THE MAIN COURSE. ALL OF US LIT UP, SOME OF THE DISHES WERE JUST ENOURMOS. THE WAITER THEN BROUGHT OVER FRESH PARM CHESSE FOR ALL THE DISHES THE TABLE WAS QUITE FOR SOME TIME I ENJOYED MY STUFFED SKIRT STEAK STUFFED WITH FONTINA CHESSE SPINACH AND TOMATOES SERVED WITH ROASTED POTATOES IT WAS JUST DELISIOUS. EVERYONE AGRRED WHAT A GREAT PLACE AND EVEN BETTER FOOD. IT WAS A HUGE HIT! THEY LOVED IT!!

After a bad experience many years ago my husband and I decided to return to Mama Mia's. The first time we went with another couple for a Saturday evening dinner, and the second time we went for a Friday night happy hour.
First time the food was great! All four of us ordered something completely different and all four were delighted with our meal (usually one of the four complains, not the case). The service was satisfactory. The server appeared young and not as knowledgeable as we would have liked, but he was pleasant and efficient. Portion sizes were fantastic and prices very reasonable.
Second time we went was Friday happy hour and we sat at the bar. The bartenders were knowlegeable and very pleasant. 3-4-1 well drinks and draft on Fridays as well as 2-4-1 appetizers. Plus, we were there during early bird. Here's the kick- we wouldn't go back for the specials, we'd rather the regular menu. The bartenders gave a nice pour on the drinks, but it just enhanced the poor taste of the well vodka. The appetizers were fair, and the early bird dinners were okay (nice portion size), but the items on the regular menu and the nightly specials are far superior for the price. The night we were there they had a pork chop that looked fantastic, and I was disappointed that I missed the lobster special the week before. ..this is the reason you go to Mama Mia's! Don't worry about the cheap stuff, go for the reasonably priced items and you won't be disappointed!

MY FAMILY DECIDED TO TREAT ME OUT FOR FATHERS DAY. THEY MADE RESERVATIONS AT AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT WE HAD HEARD ABOUT BUT HAVE NEVER GONE TO. MAMA MIA'S IS DEFINITELY A GEM. WE STARTED WITH A COUPLE OF APPETIZERS, THE SHRIMP AND CALAMARI PALERMO WAS SO GOOD, FRESH AND UNIQUE. THE FRIED MOZZARELLA WAS ALSO EXELLENT WITH A FRESH MARINARA SAUCE FOR DIPPING.
OUR ENTREES INCLUDED A SPECIAL OF THE DAY, 2LB MAINE LOBSTER OREGANATO, WHICH WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION. MY SON HAD A RIBEYE STEAK, ALSO A SPECIAL OF THE DAY, TOPPED WITH SOME KIND OF COGNAC SAUCE. THE VEAL PARMIGIANO, SUGGESTED BY OUR SERVER, WAS LIKE NOTHING I EVER SAW BEFORE. HUGE PORTION AND I BELIEVE IT WAS A VEAL CHOP THAT HAD BEEN BUTTERFLIED AND POUNDED THIN, TOPPED WITH A FRESH MOZZARELLA AND THAT GREAT TASTING MARINARA SAUCE.
WE HAVE FOUND A GREAT PLACE WITH QUALITY SERVICE AND EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE PRICES
MAMA MIA'S IS THE BEST ITALIAN IN FLORIDA I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF DINNING THERE QUIT A FEW TIMES AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AND FOOD. SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PLACE ALWAYS HAS ME GOING BACK FOR MORE. LOL. THEY ALSO HAVE A SUSHI RESTAURANT ATTACHED TO IT THAT YOU CAN ORDER ALL KINDS OF GREAT SUSHI AND JAPANESE DISHES FROM. WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FIND SOMETHING THAT ORIGINAL. GREAT FOOD, GREAT WINE, AND GREAT SUSHI.
HAT'S OFF TO MAMA MIA THE BEST ITALIAN AROUND. I WAS IN THERE LAST WEEK AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND A FABULOUS DINNER WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. MY WAITER WAS VERY KNOWLEGEBLE OF THE MENU AND SPECIALS EVERYONE ENJOYED THERE MEAL AND WINE (GREAT WINE SELECTIONS TOO) I WILL BE BACK VERY SOON!!

I was in town for a week from PA , I found this place , at the door I was greeted very proper . I sat at the bar and enjoyed 3 for 1 cocktails and also 2 for 1 apps. Great Experience. I went back two days later and took a date there I had a great table in the back very relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent and the service was at its finest, from suggestions to the time we walked out the door. I ordered a bottle of wine , Great presentation on the wine. I served by I proper gentleman named Dean. When I'm back in town I won't look for another place to eat.
My favorite restaurant! I have been going since I was a kid and it just keeps getting better. Over the past 20 years they have turned into a delightful fine dining experience! They even have new tables, flat screen TVs, a beautiful wine attic...With all the remodeling you would never guess it is 20 years old, looking classier than ever! The food is amazing with great portions sizes and great prices. The Veal Osso Bucco and Fruttie Di Mare are my favorite dishes on the menu and don't forget to try the truffle garlic loaf off the appetizers. The servers are always sweet and professional and don't hesitate to follow their suggestions! The wine list is great and best to serve any taste bud as well as the dinner and lunch menu. Please Try It Is Amazing!!!!

Although the food portions are of a nice quantity, the food is mediocre at best. Other Italian restaurants in the area serve superior quality dishes.
The waitress who served us did not tell us about the specials that were posted outside. We did not have time to read the board as the hostess rushed us to a table. The waitress was anxious to take our order and we forgot to inquire about the specials. It occurred to us when we heard another diner ask if specials were available.
Also, the waitress never told us about happy hour. We did have to remind her that the restaurant offers 3 for 1 drinks. She then told us that at the table we were to get 2 for 1. She said one had to be at the bar to get 3 for 1. When I ordered a glass of wine, I was informed that glasses of wine are not part of the happy hour.
This behavior seems sleazy to me. We live in Hollywood and go out to dinner often. The other diner is a Monsignor at a local Catholic church. We will not return to Mama Mia Italian Restaurant.

free valet for starters. friendly and professional service and the best food that i have had in florida. the parmigiana garlic oil rolls melt in your mouth. the house made dressing was a yummy creamy italian. the veal parmigiana was a veal chop on the bone and huge with the best red sauce with lots of garlic. the dessert was a fried cheesecake and banana dish with ice cream and leftovers for the next 2 days! great location. you can't beat it.
The food is awsome and the portions will WOW you! The presntation of the plates are gorgeous. The embiance and service go hand in hand for an outstanding experience. I highly recommend this restaurant because as many times as I have been there it just seems to get better and better.
From Lunch to Dinner and then Late Night this place makes it hard to go anywhere else! So Im in town for a week and staying at the Ramada and in walking distance is this ""Mama Mia's!"" So I go for lunch because I have this free coupn from ramada... WOW! Loved it so I looked at the dinner menu and came back that night! The plates are huge and delicious! Then they shut down the restaurant and turned into a Night club.. All on a Thurday night! Friday night they have 3 for 1 drinks and 2 for 1 appetizers!! You cant beat it! Then when your done Mama Mia you can head to their night club around the conner for 24hour fun!!! They also own the sushi place next door!
