This was my first time hiring movers and I was not disappointed with The Movers Group. They were extremely professional and thorough. I spoke to Henry on the phone and he gave me the most competitive price. On the day of the move, two movers showed up with a very large truck on time. They provide 2 wardrobe boxes for free, which was just enough for all of my clothes. They carefully wrapped my furniture & fragile pieces with plastic wrap and cardboard boxes if needed. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to haul my boxes to the truck and secure them safely using straps, etc. in the truck. I think they wanted to speed things up and asked another mover to join in mid-morning (which I of course didn't mind).They efficiently unloaded the truck at my new apartment, set up my bed and dining table without being asked, and asked me where the pieces of furniture should be placed.All in all, they were fantastic. I highly recommend them!
Best experience ever with North star movers! All 3 guys on the crew were educated, clean and professional looking, and were much focused. Their sales rep gave me a quote and it was a little higher than some of the other quotes I had received. Because I felt more comfortable with his professionalism and knowledge that came from their sales rep, I felt more at ease with this company. When the crew came out to my house, they all greeted me like an old friend and immediately gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing and were nice chaps. Not only did they literally run throughout the day, but they also wrapped everything, stacked it carefully, and planned out how they were going to fill the truck to prevent damage during the transit. The goods we received were without any damage and the quality of the move was excellent.
These guys are awesome. no complaints here. they are professional, affordable and speedy. what more could you want in a moving company? I'm kind of fussy and i called a few companies and gave them all the same list of furniture items/boxes and these guys said they could do it in the least amount of time with a reasonable rate with 3 guys. (3-4 hours at $180/hr - another company estimated 6-7 hrs at $195/hr) they showed up on time and were almost super human in the way they went at it. these guys literally picked up dressers on their backs and just boogied up and down our stairs over and over again. the move took exactly the time that Henry estimated (the very nice guy i spoke with on the phone to get a quote) and we had even more stuff than i had anticipated. highly recommend.
I planed my move to Canada 6 months ago, I had 2 companies that came to my house for an estimate. All other 3 offered a quote over the phone, a couple of the were located out of FL so they couldn't do it and I decided not to deal with them. Ely and Jo came out took all the information and explained how it works. I was very comfortable and the same evening I got the quote, it was very detailed and clear.On the move date they showed up on time packed very neatly and was very cautious with my stuff, they helped me with all the papers and forms for custom clearance I received my goods 2 weeks after as promised and I am very happy!!! I really liked the service I got! I had a problem not knowing which company to choose, but then my sister recommended me these guys and I am more than happy. Their team came on time to my place and wrapped everything nicely and carefully. I saw how professional they were. I was really glad I hired them. These guys were super nice, friendly and courteous. I even packed some of my plates in the box but in a very loose way, so these guys fixed it and they did not let anything get damaged or broken. I really appreciated that. We have had some rough experiences during the move in the past years. The kids usually found their toys misplaced, lost or broken and same was the thing with the bigger luggage. So we learned through the hard way that we shouldn’t depend upon the moving companies to bring our things with 0% damage. But these guys changed the way we think altogether. They were extra careful in placing the things and double checked with us when we wanted something thrown away or left behind. And at the end as a result, none of our belongings were lost, damaged or scratched! So if anyone is in search of a dependable company then North star movers is right for you!

I used The Movers Group for my move from Hallandale to Miami, and they were great. I had grossly underestimated the amount of stuff I had to the guy on the phone. So a three-person, four-hour job turned into a four-person, ten-hour job. But they took it in stride with the characteristic humor that I have come to demand of anyone who moves my stuff. Henry and his team were super nice. They had this way of moving boxes on their backs that was very impressive. They were super efficient, nice, didn't break anything, and only dinged one wall on the way down the stairway. Really excellent service at a reasonable price.
The vulnerable and fragile items were bubble wrapped and placed in very strong cartons to prevent it from snapping. The electronics were neatly placed over the bed and were enclosed on all four sides to insure it would not toss during the journey. The final bill came out to be exactly the same as the estimate. Ultimately, North star movers was able to take the stress out of moving and I would highly recommend them! Their services are surely among the best in their field of business.
