Bought a truck there six months ago now it has broken timing chain failed oil pump , took me for $4500
Punched in the stomach today, literally sick! Shady business owner.Bought car June 6, 2016. Re-located to NV last month, drove car total of 14000 miles (2200 MILES to NV) Took said car for NV emissions test. Test failed (see codes below). Tech said that Check Engine Light was covered with black electrical tape (see before and after pic). Called Bob and he said "You cannot prove that we covered the dash light". I cannot register this car in NV because I have to fix it, therefore I cannot drive it. Repair cost total $2100. Message to Bob: I will not take down this review unless I am reimbursed for the repair. You have my phone number and I will be sending a letter to your place with all the information (copies of repair bill, failed emissions test, pictures of covered check engine light covered illegally, affidavit from tech that discovered it). I would advise that you settle with me immediately before the Attorney General gets ahold of you! I will file a report if action is not taken. For what reason would anyone cover the engine light EXCEPT THE SELLER. This was done by your shop you could of uncovered this issue with a easy code test and the codes would of shown a check engine light, you would of realized that the tape was on! Sold to customer unknowingly. .. see pictures attached of black tape placement, could only see it with a flash camera, covered brightly lit Check Engine Light!
Drove 2 hours to get the vehicle with cashier check made out to them and insurance on the vehicle and they sold it from underneath us.
If I could give it less than 1 star I would! This place is a joke. I had a vehicle that I was driving three hours to come and get and spoke with them, had everything set up. Had the loan all approved then they went and sold it right out from under me. But I didn't find out until I drove three hours and got there for them to tell me! The "manager" is a joke. A little 12 year old gangster wanna be with his hat on sideways. He wouldn't tell me the owner's name. Probably because he knew he was in the wrong. I would advise everyone to go somewhere else for a vehicle. Go ANYWHERE else. NOT HERE. Don't support this kind of "business".
I recommend staying away from here. These are all auction vehicles being sold here, AS IS sale unless you buy their spotty warranty. Kids are selling cars that know nothing about what they are selling. JP is a hostile know it all that takes risk of lawsuit on every sale.My truck had problems the next day after the sale. $2500.00 worth of work and JP stated that he is not libel for any issue's. And they made mistakes on my plate transfer.Marsh Auto Sales is not recommend by honest people.
I would recommend that no one purchase a vehicle from these people. They are highly unprofessional argumentative and hostile. Here was our experience We called yesterday and expressed interest in a vehicle they assured us was in great shape. We told themupfront that we lived in an hour away and would they agree to let us take it to our mechanic for a overview. They said yes no problem. Today we did just that. An hour or so after we left they called and told us if we didn't have the car returned immediately they would report us to the police as having stole the vehicle and to bring it back immediately. No problem it needed over $1,000 dollars in repairs. No wonder they don't want it off the lot for long. Buyer's beware of the unprofessional group of kids running this business
I purchased a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan from them about a year and a half ago. They negotiated the price with me and I paid cash. I had some wiring issues 8 months later but had it repaired at a dealership and they agreed it was a manufacturer problem along with the age of the vehicle. So now we decide to get a more stable vehicle. I bought a nice looking and fair driving GMC Acadia from Marsh due to how they had treated me in the past. I paid more than I should have due to financing but need help fixing my "no credit" status. Within 24 hours I have 4 warning lights coming on. The Check Engine and Traction Control being my biggest concern. I'm taking it to Liskey's here in Lansing and have them run diagnostic tests. This will cost $90.00 - $180.00. But they are extremely trustworthy. From there I will see if legal action is warranted. To be continued....
I bought the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee from you in December. The one that Bob told me nothing was wrong with it? I wondered why when I asked for the car fax I never did get it. The car is a piece of junk! EVERYTHING is wrong with it! I paid $3500 for it and have put another $2500 in it just so I have a vehicle to drive back and forth to work. So thank you for lying to me and taking ALL of my savings! Now I am back to square one with no money or dependable vehicle! By the way, your warranty that I also Spent money on...are useless!!
This review is a bit late but I purchased a Saab from them two years ago and I can't say enough about the awesome service I received from the owner and the sales person Cameron. They gave me what I wanted for my trade in and, I got a really decent vehicle with low mileage. Except for a few things that needed repair over the last two years, which is to be expected for a car that is 13 years old, I will go back to them again when the need arises. I recommend them a lot to friends that are looking for a reasonably priced used vehicle.
Initial experience was great. Salesman I worked with, Jack, was personable, not pushy, and worked with me. He didn't have the "used car salesman" vibe. Experience dropped after the purchase when I received my title. Information had not be submitted correctly in that the lien holder was not listed on it. I called and left a message and got a call back from the GM, JP. He verified that they had messed up on that. The response was, "you can just run down to SOS and get a new one, it should only cost you like $15". After some discussion back and forth, he reluctantly said I could drive back up there (1.5 hrs away) to pick up the $15 or he could stick it in the mail. So the mail it was.4 weeks later (2 months post purchase), I still have not received said check in the mail. I called back - said he would look into it and follow up (that was a week ago). Took 2 hours off work to care for my newborn while my wife (vehicle/loan in her name) spent 2 hours to get title fixed.
