If I could give ZERO stars I would but you're forced to put at least 1. This dealership is full of employees who are rude, lie to you and difficult to deal with. We went to Sun in August of 2014 because they mailed us a "pre-approved" letter. When we met with the salesman he basically wouldn't show us anything except the 2014 Camry even when I told him it was more expensive than we would like, he said "they could make it work", we spent HOURS with him while they tried to put a deal together and when they couldn't make the numbers work after almost 4 hours (plus an hour drive there) we left but not before our sales rep Dan Bateman got an attitude with us and became extremely rude because we wouldn't "Try the high payment", seriously, they asked me to just try making a payment I said I could not afford. Fast forward to March 2015 where I get pulled over for having a "stolen tag" and come to find out that they transferred my tag before we even signed any paperwork and then NEVER transferred it back! I called and left messages for someone to call me back, no call back. Then I call and get Donald in accounting on the line and he is rude with me, the person who was treated like a criminal for a mistake HE MADE. This is one of the absolute worst dealerships I have ever dealt with, I would NEVER recommend them. I have told everyone I know to stay far, far away from them and I will continue to do so. Save yourself a lot of trouble and headache and go somewhere else. I ended up buying a car recently from Crown Kia and they were amazing, a completely different experience and it went so much better than with Sun.

Do not go there!

They lied to us in several ways.

Among other things, they told us there would be no prepayment penalty if we paid the loan off earlier. Well, we tried to pay off the loan earlier, at that time we discovered there is a $75.0 early pay off penalty. What a rip off.

This is the most dishonest dealership on this side of Mississippi.

After you buy a car from them, they will not even remember you. They will tell you to take a hike.

Wished we had read other reviews prior to buying a car from them.

Only a fool would do business with them.

Very poor customer service - DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE

I am a woman, so I often get the shaft at car dealers - but this was the worst experience I've ever had. I should note that although I am a woman, I am educated, in fact i have a phd - so I'm not stupid. Which is more than I can say for the people who work in this store. They are CAR SALESMAN, so it's very unclear how they get their sense of entitlement and rudeness.
The first time I went into the store, I was looking at a minivan, which I ultimately decided not to buy based on the price - the sales manager had the nerver to say to me ""if you weren't planning on buying a car today - why did you come in.""

several years later my husband bought a car and paid for an extended warranty. Which, by the way covers NOTHING. I sold the truck and went to get a refund for the warranty. I was treated indifferently by the young receptionist (shocker), waited 15 minutes, then treated as though I was trying to steal somthing by a random sales guy walking around. DON""T go here - unless you enjoy this sort of treatment.

Avoid Sun Toyota Like the Pague

Several months ago we contacted Carol Deary and worked a deal for a Toyota Highlander Hybred. She agreed to honor the Costco buying service price. In goog faith we gave them a deposit and had them special order the Highlander. We waited 6 months for the car to come in. When it did Sun Toyota Faxed us a contract with a price that was three thousand dollars more then the price we agreed upon. Jim Deary told us that his wife, Carolyn, gave us the wrong Costco discount for the car that she order for us. We asked Jim Deary to find the car that matched the price, and he never returned our call. The next day we spoke to Laurieann the customer relations manager, and she stated that the car we order went up in price. At no point were we ever told that after you order an automobile the price can go up. She was extremely rude, and make it very clear that they really didn't care about the orginal deal that was no longer available due to ""supply and demand."",

Do not go here, they lie and cheat you!

What ever you do, do not believe in their cash back after so many months, I followed their directions to a ""T"" and was told that they would not reward my $1000 cash back because they did not recognize the return signiture on a card that I had to mail into them when I first bought the car. In addition, the person that is in charge of the cash back program at sun toyota always seems to be conviently on vacation.
Also, I was quoted with one price as my monthly payment and then called the next day and bullied, they said the price was going to be higher each month. I wish I would have returned the car then! I will never buy from them again, and seriously doubt I will ever even buy another toyota.

Avoid at all costs

Bought car from used car lot with sale pending an inspection. My mechanic stated told me to return the car because it failed a blcok test. They were rude from the start. We brought the car back and asked to watchtheir mechanics perform the test. The Sales Mgr snatched the keys, peeled off in the car, and parked it in the mechanics bay. He threw the keys and cussed at us. They did the test bust would not let us watch the entire time. The Sales Mgr came into the garage, pulled the mechanic aside, said something, and showed him a piece of paper. When we asked what it was he said it was none of our business, it was his paperwork. The mechanic then made us leave the garage. Their tests passed. They told us they didn't want to deal with us anymore and basically kicked us out of the dealership. We have since had another block test performed by another independent mechanic- the car failed the test once again. They have refused to make this right. They put the contract though and all of the financing leaving us stuck with a car whose engine may explode at any time. We are young and just starting off in life together. We cna't afford to have a car with a bad engine. What they have done is absolutely revolting. I can't beleive they are even in business. I would recommend that consumers stay as far away from this dealership as possible. Look for their name in the news because we may be forced to file a suit to make this right.
