All these reviews are real. They lost a very large 57lb package that says Rough Country in very large letters all over the box. This is about 5’ tall & they say it’s lost. Still under investigation 6 days later. They even called the sender to see if it was sent while I was on hold even though the tracking states that it arrived in Hodgkins. Really? Still out my parts & my $450. Not happy
Ordered a one of a kind deal, guitar amplifier through Amazon. Unfortunately it landed in Hodgkins and was never seen again. However, Amazon filed a report and it was found. The mailing label most likely had fallen off. If I hadn't been persistent I don't think I would have found it. If you have something unique coming in the mail make you opt for 2 day or overnight. This is a huge hub, and these folks are busy.
Wish I could give them no stars. Shipped an order from Houston, Tx (77547) to Neenah, Wi (54956) on 2-14. Unfortunately, it was sent to this hodgkins, ilinois location. The 2 boxes arrived 2-15 at 8:16pm with no problem. Today, 2-16 at 8:31am some type of damage occurred, while at the location, and half of a box went missing WHILE AT THE UPS LOCATION. $1000 managed to grow arms, cut itself out of an over taped box; then sprouted legs and walked out without anyone seeing. Do they have cameras? My company has a camera pointed in every direction, both inside and the property outside.
Had my local driver sign the receipt as per UPS terms and I guarantee we will never see a penny. Hope they don't expect us to pay the shipping fees.
If your package arrives at this facility there's a good chance you'll never receive it. They'll also lie to you and say it has left this location and already on the way to the next when you call. Definitely a location that needs to be under investigation for theft of packages. I spent nearly $2000 on a laptop so of course someone steals it. Disappointed and hope they shut down this location.
This branch of UPS is without a doubt the least professional group in the whole company...long story short, THEY screwed up, which was explained to me later as a "mishap", and then tried to blame it on weather conditions...Its currently 33 and cloudy with no chance of any rain or bad weather and will continue like that throughout the day. A 3-5 day delivery window just turned into an 8 day. This part that I'm waiting on is crucial to my companies operation and now I get to take it in the shorts because the weather...I mean "mishap"...NO AT MINIMUM JUST ADMIT YOUR MISTAKES! YOU SCREWED UP!!! You stay classy Hodgkins UPS
